It is absolutely clear to anybody with eyes that the Iranians are tired of the reformists and oligarchs inside Iran. In fact, January protests must have made that sufficiently clear. The popularity of reformists and oligarchs in Iran is even lower than the IRGC at the moment.

So, if the US decides to go for regime change and accepts all the risks and troubles that will come with it, do you think they will hand over the new system to people like Shamkhani's son or Hassan Rouhani when they can start over and create a new Iran under Zionist control? That's hilarious.

Pahlavi is also hated by most Iranians. He will be killed the second he lands in Iran. That is if he even has the balls and will to land in Iran. Before the protests, he said he is more American and doesn’t want to go back to Iran. He could have been a viable option had he not been so openly Zionist and called for bombing of Iran and Iranians.

The only viable option is IRGC led coup with reformists at top. Nothing else would work. Its either that or Balkanization which is what I believe they have planned for us? Do I support a reformist coup? No, but I will take it over Balkanization any day.
 
US concern regarding Iran is Iran's development of nuclear weapons and ICBMs that can reach US territory.

Issues with US can be solved with agreement that will put limits on Iran's nuclear program and with Iran stopping development of ICBMs in exchange for sanctions relief.

But Trump is incompetent and is under heavy influence of Netanyahu who wants to drag US into a war with Iran.

12 Day War between Israel and Iran proved that Iran can be deterred from attacking economic targets and convinced US and Israel that they can make a limited attack on Iran's ballistic missile and nuclear program without Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz or attacking oil infrastructure of the region.

Deployment of significant US military assets to the region is expensive and is an indicator that US will certainly strike Iran in the coming weeks.

So what we will see is several weeks of shoot-out between the US and Iran with US Air Force and Navy conducting strikes on Iran's ballistic missile and nuclear programs and with Iran returning fire by striking US military bases in the region with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones.

If controlled it will last few weeks with both sides exchanging strikes.

If situation goes out of control there will be massive destruction with Iran's economic infrastructure in ruins and global economic depression after Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz and destroys oil facilities of the region.

After the war Iran will move its missile production sites deep underground and eventually develops nuclear weapons.

Is that why the regime had to shut down the internet for 3 weeks, and kill 3K people and injure 25K people (per their own official statistics) in just 2 days to suppress the pro-Pahlavi protests? lol Like it or not, Pahlavi is by far the most popular choice. He has millions of supporters inside and outside Iran.

People hate the IRGC right now. If you think after January protests, people will support the IRGC, you are wrong. Majority of Iranians are waiting for the US to bomb Iran. You just need to talk to Iranians on Instagram, YouTube, reddit, X, or even your co-workers. They are even calling for the US to take action against the regime in Iran and you think Iranians want the IRGC to continue their plundering of our wealth for the Arabs in Palestine and Lebanon? You can't mean that.

There is no balkanization of Iran at this point. If anything, I would be afraid of the Balkanization of Iran by a regime that has always prioritized Islam and Arabs over national interests of Iran.
 
Are they testing Qadr-474 ? they are the longest range (2000 KM) AShCM in Iranian possession ?

Land attack capability is limited to 2500 KM with Soumar LACM.
 
Iranian extremism and self loathing is legendary and amusingly has always been there even when we had cross-continental empires. One of the biggest Shahenshah of one such empire used to call himself "Sinner" in his poetry. In this world people support their 50% debted countries with average income lower than most of the African Union but our "I told you so" soothsayer aay holes have to somehow shit on Iran 24/7 so that they can "prove" it to their own countrymen that they were right. We are are own worst enemy.

There are some new factors in play... Iran has transitioned to Beidou... previously Houthis were showing similar yet much inferior capabilities without any ISR... however they were getting some targeting inputs. Increased manifold by improved systems, better guidance, maneuverability and targeting data.
This is not something that has been fielded or previously used against an advanced adversary. The CSGs need impunity to operate in uncontested environments... once that space becomes challenged the whole operation is jeopardized. What many do not understand is that US is actually leveling up its posture in accordance with the threat.
Where Iran has no choice but to hit the gas as soon as the lights blare red... and there is only so much that canbe done within an already saturated field... making additions redundant and fallout guaranteed.

The USN successfully countered Iranian origin anti-ship missiles during the attacks on Yemen ( with hindsight a good workout against Iranian origin systems ).

Has Iran addressed the problems of why they were so ineffective against the USN, can Iran be sure that their own systems will be more successful ?

Those were warning shots. I'm sure nobody in the Iranian military, or Houthis, is stupid enough to think they can target US carriers with single shots.

Iran's only chance of actually damaging a USN protected asset is by overwhelming their air defenses first. Something that hasn't been tried before.

What if Iran use dirty bomb against Israel? It just need to reach israel, not even need to hit anything. Infact Israel AD kill won't do any good to it.

It will cause radiation poisoning and make one or two small cities inhabitable for a while. Fatalities will be in the range of thousands to tens of thousands.

In response, Tehran will be nuked with powerful strategic bombs that will kill at least one or two million people in short time and injure north of 5 million people. And most of these 5 million injured cases will die too, because Iran's healthcare system will have already collapsed in that scenario. And it will flatten Tehran and nearby satellite cities. Not really worth it, is it?

Not near AlAqsa but near Tel Aviv and other Jew populated area and I am not suggesting to use it actually but present it as deterent.
