in india, they tend to forget that planes and missiles are meant to fly. Hence why both of them typically end up crashing into the ground.

For which aircraft?

SU 30... it can survive, if blind spots are available, in other words, in an open sky, it is a target itself, of course, it will struggle to not kill (give its position away!) itself in a BVR fight!

Tejas.. well, the less said the better

Rafale.. theoretically, best choice for this missile

SU 57.. Possible choice (does not even exist today!)

(but Rafale and Su 57, cant survive, peer vs peer fight!) - If Pak. fields roughly same numbers of 4.5th generation jets in a scenario, Rafale cant win, without any losses

Mig 29.. has range problem

Mirage 2000.. cant stand in AESA fight!

I'd go for these, for this missile:

1. Mig 29K
2. Tejas
3. Use Rafale to call out PAF best fighters

India just need to upgrade it with new radar, awacs , sensors, coating with reduse radar signature and add such missile with long range - it will be a very impactful Aircraft.

It is already providing many advantages like can carry numbeors weapons systems including brahmos and long range missiles.

NExt coming decades mainly Rafale, Su30 mki (upgraded), Tejas and possible 5th generation fighter from Russia will be protecting the sky... Until new aircrafts come after 2035.
