I am wondering what Iranians were doing all those years? They had oil money, loyalty of Shia all around the world, even from Sunnis.
Why could they not buy Credible air defence, Cyber espionage or counter espionage, ELINT , SIGINT , Fighter jets...Or Just hire scientists from around the Muslims world, Pay them and build their own?

lol no long range bomber, Missile or Aircraft carrier or forward base with that kind of a range. On top of that, they have Jordan & Egypt's protection from both sides. We don't even have a space launch system or space program, which is a necessary prerequisite to get into longer range missiles.

We have no way of Reaching Israel and neither do they have an (operational) way of reaching Pakistan (at least in a one-on-one fight).

This is what I keep reminding people whenever they complain about Pakistan not helping Palestinians. We can do nothing unless we invade 3 countries at least, to try to get close to them.

Guys, please stop inventing the wheel, iranians do know that very well but they did not have ever credible opportunity in terms of potential supplier and credible offer, once they have it they will upgrade their fleet for sure.
