Looking at past 70-80 years of USA behaviour, I guess this is what USA does. But it couldnt do that in North Korea as somewhat their people are United know?
There are 2 major groups in Iran. Pro and Anti Regime. One will prevail in the end and like you predicted, the other group will turn into resistance and never ending cycle of violence continues. Balochi groups are not activated yet.

"Iran has announced that only China, Pakistan and Russia will be permitted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian officials reportedly said the decision reflects appreciation for the support that these countries have provided towards Iran during the ongoing regional tensions.
The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most critical shipping routes for global oil supplies, and any restrictions there could have major implications for international energy markets".

This just did not happen like that. The explosive comments of our Defence Minsiter Mr. Khawaja during the last conflict have everything to do with it. That is when Iran found out that the one nearest to them also holds them the dearest to a certain extent.

When this 21st century Crusade is done, these pack of wolves (the so called civilised West) will turn on one another, sit back and just watch and see.
If the news is true then it means the war fatigue has started to show on the US as well unlike many who believe US can carry this without repercussions.
