So I think this is because Kurds are demanding that Trump first declare and recognize an area for them in Iran before they will do anything. Kind of like when Israel recognized Somaliland. He is likely to make that kind of declaration of that type in the next few days and that's why he gave an answer of this kind regarding map of Iran.

tbh very good way for russia to take revenge on NATO and US support for ukraine , though they never challenge israelis

also if iran uses them to decimate gulf oil infrastructure it is russia that benifits .
