Though the concept of a strategic bomber is outdated. They are a thing of a cold war era when only a strategic bomber could deliver a strike at a long range.
With hypersonic ICBM,s and long range drones these days you can strike much cheaper and effectively. With no life risk of a pilot and crew involved.
And with satellite tracking a stealth is no longer a stealth.
Lately it looks like there won't be any boots on ground either. Nations will fight from a distance and those with effective strikes will dictate their terms and conditions.
