Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Americans and Israelis know what they're doing. They came in took out Iran's capability to damage Israel. 12 day war was to asses what Iran could do to Israel. They prepared sufficiently for that.

Then declare to leave the scene entirely, leaving it up to Saudis, GCC to deal with, and Chinese/Indians/Asians/Europeans that rely on this route.

Iran will likely demand war reparations from those nations despite not being attacked by them, in order to stabilize the Strait of Hormuz.

But essentially Trump and Netanyahu created a situation and threw responsibility on European, Arabs, Chinese, Indians and others to sort out.

And if they sort it out they will come back to burn it down again.

American administration and Israel are led by Messaniac lunatics that are engaging in anarchy
Just because they didn’t pull the trigger doesn’t mean they didn’t grease the gun pretending they didn’t know it was going to be used lets be real they approved fully many if not all with a promise that this war would be over in a few days…..guess what it’s still going trump was full of himself with Venezuela he thought Iran wouldn’t escalate after he they gave their telegraphed reply pentagon said that this would happen he listened to Israel over his own people

What do you mean we couldn't beat the Kurds? We mopped them up in less than a week, literally just a month ago, what the hell are you talking about?

And again, for the hundredth time, we're not getting involved in the current conflict, you are getting BS propaganda from Mint "news" which almost certainly got it from some Hasbara outlet trying to forment chaos in the region, like they've been doing for two weeks. Our MoD has already debunked this:

And Turkey can't even beat the PKK for 20 years, and they're nothing compared to an entire nation that's been at war for 15 years. You think it'll be easier on foreign territory when people are fighting an insurgency on their own home turf? lol

I think he's a troll lol

I actually think israelis themselves would be uncomfortable around this

What does Hamas have to do with it ? Lebanon is a large nation not a tiny territory like Gaza so going off that it should be more defendable.

There is no indication Israel is seeking to embark on full scaled ground invasion and occupation of Lebanon. Lebanon and Israel are having talks right now which Hezbollah is aware of, around a ceasefire.

Any major ground invasion of Lebanon would require scaling back of forces in Gaza.

I don't see them doing that for that reason.

But I wouldn't be too optimistic that Hezbollah can prevent them from reaching Litani river if they set out to do it.

However right now it's not a credible threat of ground invasion and is posturing to pressure Lebanon into recognizing Israel or coming to ceasefire and disengaging from conflict with Iran.
Hamas killed 2,039 Israeli soldiers and security personnel since October 7

So saying Hezbollah is not Hamas, I think you would want them to be like Hamas because that will be a hard bar to reach

😅😅

I am on Hezbollah's side and wish them best luck but also hope Lebanon doesn't suffer a major invasion for sake of Lebanese people. But if it comes to it I hope they can defend it best they can.

It is unlikely Netanyahu will embark on major commitment of 1-2 year long major ground invasion and occupation of Lebanon. They do not want to do that and will not use more than 15,000 troops. It will be same ground invasion maneuver as the one they did in 2024:

Each of those planes costs 75 million dollars to produce and months of production time + materials/personnel.

You think Trump has a moneyprinting machine in his backyard?

Every damaged airplane/jet/drone/tank is a win for Iran.
KC-135 production ended in 1965. A total of 803 were produced of which the USAF / USAFR / Air National Guard operate about 396. A total of 16 were sold to foreign governments. I've no data on how many are assigned to museums.

Still, that means there are a lot of spare parts available in the AMARG facility at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

No trolling from my side till now on the thread. Went through last 20 odd pages and not 1 member here has wished for peace or end to the conflict.

That maybe true but to ignore growing anti Israel sentiment across the globe would be intellectual dishonesty. As economic woes worsen, history would repeat itself in Europe as many countries plunge into far right politics.
people are afraid the attacks will be blamed on muslims

I'm not convinced at all that mobilizing 450 thousand just for South Lebanon is reasonable; this doesn't make sense, 150 thousand would have sufficed

The issue is bigger than south of the Litani; honestly, this number opens the door to every possible scenario

I'll try to think about what Israel wants with this number, but preliminarily, I still lean toward there being some Israeli plan or another toward Syria!
