Question is how realistic are these threats?
1) getting nuclear weapon now as opposed to when US was busy in Afghanistan is easier said than done.
2) China does not have a policy of deploying PLA outside China.
3) Russian Base, did we not see it's outcome in Syria? Russians use to look the other way with their S300 when Israel use to bomb Syria. Not sure how a Russian Base is going to help Iran.
With Iran's existing missile base, developing longer range missiles including ICBM would be a more tangible solution. Also getting chemical weapons ready and putting Israel and US on notice that any nuclear strike will result in Iran using chemical weapons over Israel and US bases in the gulf. Chemical weapons even if intercepted would still be deadly due to their fallout.

We need to be closely watching what the Iranian leadership says about Pakistan instead of falling for the propaganda like the Pakistani betrayal in the UNSC's recent vote. Iranians know Pakistanis are on their side but also know Pakistan's constraints.

If / when Pakistan goes against Iran then the Iranian leadership's statement would reflect that.
