All the redlines heading to Taiwan is off distance around 200+/- miles, China's Arti and rocket forces can fire so many rounds that will decimate the Taiwan's defense within first 24-48 hours, and they don't even have to fire BM/CM, they just level the entire area with just Arti fire and Drones if they wanted to... Also also Iranians cheap drones, rockets and Missiles make US/Israel/KSA/Qatar/UAE/Bahrain/Kuwait AD systems and bypass a bunch of them, so even with US protecting Taiwan with Taiwan's own AD's China can not only bypass it but literally exhaust them within a day or 2.

Let's see when China actually dares to do it.... right now they are shit scared to even seriously challenge Philippines....

Yeah that's not gonna work with China, nor you have the same amount of Drones/missiles as Iran did, they were preparing for years for this.. You have a much bigger problem at hand, even when you go to war with China, you can't leave your eastern border unattended cause Pakistan/China will roll over India in Kashmir, so you have to keep a significant portion of your forces there, specially the Air force, with the limited numbers you can't harass PLAAN or its trade.

Going to war is a calculation for certain. It comes down to how ready China is, aswell as how ready is the USA. Are all the claims of "low ammunition supplies" fake news designed to make China think the USA is weaker now than it is, so that China may be more inclined to go to war now, or "when" USA war supplies are "restored" etc.

Big calculation, big decision, with big consequences for getting it wrong.

But, China will take over Taiwan by non-peaceful means only if Taiwan is about to be permanently separated from China either by Taiwan's own actions or by foreign force occupation. These scenarios are specifically stipulated in China's Anti-succession Law drafted against Taiwan succession. The drills are just to keep Taiwan on the track from separation.
