In all honesty, we need more clear ground footage of dominance, the skies humiliated them enough but ground footage would be the top layer. Burst raids in and out.

Then the cherry on top would be a Northern insurgency

What did I say earlier - the only way to actually scare crows is to either build a permanent scarecrow they see or skin a few crows and hang them in sight.

Hi,

Some in history state that when Ceasar was giving the throne of egypt to young Ptolemy as a co-ruler of egypt---he handed him the Kings spear---. Ptolemy did not want to take it---because he knew what would happen to him---.

By the time Ptolemy took the walk from the entrance of the palace to the throne---the power of the King's spear changed him---.

He ultimately went to war against Ceasar and was killed.

So---when I saw all the weapons that the americans had left behind---I was 100% sure that the Taliban would turn on pakistan sooner or later---. All the taliban leader faces had deceit written all over them---Power did not sit well with them---specially with those powerful weapons at hand---..

Pak military took too long to confront them---.

These Afghani Chokray and their lovers in Pakistan also need to be tracked and eliminated
They could have been easily picked by DJI thermal drones. We shouldn't let this go without fighting back. This have been routine that they are firing on convoys ever since operation started against Afghanistan. Not sure why they let it go unanswered.

Peak of yookayistani intelligence.

Pakistans patience has now worn super thin. These people have attacked schools and mosques in Pakistan and people cant take it anymore. Until these people realise that messing with Pakistan will result in Afghanistan blown into smithereens.

We should be very careful with airstikes alone, history has told us that airstikes alone unite a nation , look at the Battle of Britain or Bosnia Serbia ,

We need to start conducting smart raids with our air mobile troops in Afghanistan , we should move in with say 100 -150 Speical troop s 2-3 towed artillery slung from a helicopter, move in hit very hard and leave. The afghan people need to know that Pakistan will kill anyone who organizes to fight against Pakistan, no where is safe and finally thier regieme has no power.

Tota transport l helicopters needed 10 -12 Mi-17s each carries 20-24 fully armed troops or one towed artillery piece . Or artillery and ammo.

This will make the afghan goverment lose faster than air strikes alone .

At some point we need to pick up un popular Low level TTA leaders to start scaring the reieme.

Raids are very nessasry

The same mistakes we made in GWOT era, are being repeated today. We suffered mostly because we failed miserably on the narrative front and it costed us lives.

It was absolutely necessary that ISPR had put out a statement or two sayjng we hit an ammo dump in Afghanistan instead we waited and waited and Taliban account started saying the usual stuff. Any media, would have picked the first official statement from any side and in this case, Taliban were the first to say anything on it.

Secrecy is good, but handling the media and information is best. Lessons to learn.

Sometimes it's also the nature of how certain claims can spontaneously explode, obviously I agree with you that Attaullah Tarrar should have debunked it immediately before it spread but the Taliban had been saying every strike was against civilians until this one blew up.

All ok, but changing a stance to 180 is easy for the government, like Mushi did, but takes narrative, time and consistency to translate into the masses.

Yes, only lethal force can be used against forceful incursion or attack, but proportionally. Aircraft strikes if don't accumulate civilian deaths, then morality, narrative and legitimacy are on our side. Very important in the long run.

India has more flexibility as it doesn't share borders, and at least it was popular in the Afghan public (not by TTA before). Pak is hated through and through in Afghanistan now.
Musharraf had US backing. Not anymore

We shouldnt be reactive i what i am proposing. Right after the attack, there should have been a statement either from civilian or military office that such such target in afg was attacked and thats it.

BBC has confirmed atleast 100 died, the UN has reported 75 bodies before that, sure it might not be 400 but it's still 100

Hey, so I have been away for a day, it's busy in Islamabad airspace and one of these drones hit too close to friends in family in Chaklala. But, I have gone through all international publications and Reuters seems to have documented the casualties in the best way possible.

Here's the catch.

They are reporting around 100 bodies. All military aged men btw (they didn't mention but any women and children are always marked separately in reporting).

Lets say there were casualties in that Rehab Center. I'm sure there were, but how do we ascertain the number here?

What and who is there on ground to confirm which dead body belongs to a Taliban member and who was a drug addict getting treatment?

Why do I say that? Because PAF hit around 6 targets on two sites in Kabul that night. 3 strikes on Camp Phoenix and 2-3 on another military sites. Both had massive secondary explosions. Unless we are to believe that no Taliban personnel were deployed at these sites and there were no casualties, we can put the 100 figure all into that Rehab Center basket. But ask yourself, where are the Taliban bodies going? I'm sure they'd be brought to the morgue and hospitals too. The same hospitals in Kabul where Reuters and others are getting their figures from.

Problem with these taliban is they think they are superior to Pakistanis. They have a chip on their shoulder and are extremely insecure since Pakistan was created.
They are identical to Hindustanis in terms of civilisational insecurity and consequent cranial capacitance.

Once upon a time, their Amirs were literally trafficking their wives and children to the British to secure some plot of land or the other. They remain aghast and appalled that Jinnah earned Pakistan through genuine statecraft and by appealing to people's intellect.
