I am sure the Iran war cannot resurrect any sectarian rivalry. Other than that, we need to deal with short-term issues like energy, fertilisers and remittance. However, the long-term goal should be if Iran loses, then our lifeline will be under direct/indirect control of Israel.
Israel will be the regional hegemon, it is strongly present in UAE, which has a defence deal with India. Not to mention the cosy fatherland thing.

You are normally a sane person but occasionally your conceited strain pops up....F35 is a very expensive fighter and is not well optimised for gun runs ....when you have the likes of F 16s , F18s and F 15s why would you risk F 35 ?

Because, my friend, that was one of the mission requirements from the Marines when the F-35 was being designed. Also from the Air Force because they've been trying to mothball the A-10 for 20 years now.

I think that's what I said earlier. Every country in the region will have to decide which side to support.

I agree with you on this.

A clear pattern needs to emerge of multiple successful engagements either writing off or destroying enemy jets.

For now, USAF/IAF retain air superiority. Even with this one succesful strike (assuming aircraft is written off), I don't see how that calculus has changed.

2 or 3 more though, within a quick time frame, then this concept can be revisited.

For those who are going to reply with "but! But! What about all the drones?"

BFD....slow moving targets and while expensive, expendable compared to an F-35. You don't see Reapers conducting airstrikes along the Turkmenistan or Afghan borders, do you?

no way the F35 was able to land like that, most likely crashed into the Persian Gulf after it got hit and the Americans are doing damage control.

Question is where it got it.

You're assuming it got hit some where near these Gulf States over the Persian Gulf.

What if it got it somewhere over Iran itself near the Iraq/Iran Border & somehow made it across into what they claim as "Middle East" Country.
