Job market is terrible, big tech has already announced trim of 80K jobs this year and now this war will bring recession to US. It's kind of weird that lifting sanctions on Iran is never even mentioned as a condition.

What does the IR want? To keep being sanctioned to hell after the war?

Reportedly there is “15 points”. I wouldn’t expect the real stuff to leak. Just talking points at the current stage.

Keep in mind there is no guarantee these talks succeed. People forget that Russia met in Turkey for a series of peace talks in 2022 after the war began and they failed. Russia and Ukraine have been on and off negotiating since then.

The market is severely overestimating the success of negotiations right now with Iran and think this is like Greenland or Tariffs or ICE or the Government Shutdown.

Am I suprised by negotiations? No absolutely not, because I have said the world has about 2-3 weeks (Till Easter) of time left before reality will set in for energy markets, fertilizer markets, and everything tied to them. In 3 weeks the pain will become more and more irreversible and the world will head to global energy and food crisis.

But just because we are heading towards a waterfall doesn’t mean that US will grab the olive branch of peace to save the ship.
