Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Funny you mention this, just a couple days. back I was viewing a video of some IRGC official.

As per him, the logic behind focusing on the rocket force more than AF was that they could achieve parity and beat the US/Israeli defence systems in a shorter amount of time by investing in rockets. Going down the AF route and building up the industry and then manufacturing would take them a decade at best.

After all, North Korea does not have jets, they have missiles! :)

Smart move though IMO, as long as you have a capable AD deterrent as well.
It's such poor logic.

Having a missile force is smart, no one can doubt that after this war, but having a capable defensive air force is also important. It allows their missile launch pads to operate safely under air cover, and allows the to constantly contest air space. The air force doesn't have to meet parity, it just has to be good enough to be a threat.

The Ukraine war is a perfect example where Russia continues to have a superior air force, but because the Ukrainians had a smaller but competently staffed and stocked air force, the Ukrainians were able to keep the Russians at bay long enough to prove to the Europeans that Ukraine was worth aiding and wasn't going to get steamrolled.

A lot of people dont put respect on this man's name but he was the first one who said out loud that US and Israel are not going to achieve their stated goals. One interesting bit from another video is that he says that US dominance in the region is ending with this war.
its always a treat to watch his videos, he is very knowledgable, his opinions are really original, and how he presents his case is extremely informative as well as entertaining.

So, they started bombing Iran, but now they want to go back to "negotiations" and demand the reduction of missiles' reach and the handover of the HEU?

This can only mean:

1. "Israel" is short of interceptors;
2. The partial closure of the Strait of Hormuz is causing economic turmoil.

Us people are earning money on basis of such news.
Buy stock when president says something. Sell it by evening. And dump starts

In my immediate neighborhood? Nobody cares. I just got back from getting the DD washed. Took a break to log in here for a moment. Everyone is simply going about their business.

Apart from a little kvetching about gas prices, life goes on hereabouts too.

Trump came into office with hopes of winning the nobel peace prize. Hes ruined all those hopes now but if things go right field marshall sahab could be taking the prize instead

Well Iran case study is entirely different. They have everything underground. And a natural terrain protection from ground invasion.
Thats how they are still putting up a fight.
Only thing they lack is good air defense.
With a deadly missiles and drone force and good air defense literally they are undefeated.

Pakistani's are stupid, US and Israel will not honour their deals and Pakistan will be left to face the pissed off Iranians
Iranians are smart enough to not fully trust their words fully either, after all they have bad experiences in the past. Islamabad is merely a neutral venue

An updated intelligence assessment of the conflict zone in northern Israel

▪️The sky south of the occupied territories is defenseless

PressTV:
🔹Hezbollah's numerous attacks to the north of the occupied territories and the southern parts of Lebanon, which are occupied by the Zionist army, have changed the enemy's defense formation in the northern part of Israel.

🔹 The Israeli intelligence services' assessment of Hizballah's operational capacity was incorrect and they assumed that the resistance could not cause a large-scale attack.

🔹 The regime has been forced to transfer its defense systems from the south to the north, and practically the southern space is in a defenseless position.

🔹 One of the reasons for the success of Iran's operations in Dimona and the southern regions two days ago was the result of this coordination between Iran and Lebanon and the change in the formation of the Zionist forces on the ground.

🔹 In recent days, sometimes in one hour, Hezbollah has carried out two offensive operations, which have been unprecedented in several cases, such as a missile attack 200 kilometers deep in the occupied territories or a heavy blow to the ground forces of the Zionist regime in the northern regions.
