Come on! Seriously ! Your leaders had enough time and resources to develop A decent air force and defence. There is no doubt that US can defeat any country in the world. But at what cost. ? The deterrence is all about making the opponent's victory as costly as possible.

First of all, why do you change your font color?

Secondly, there is a huge doubt that the US can defeat any country in the world. China, for example, will cut through them like a hot knife in butter. If they struggle this much against Iran, which is hardly even a middle power, imagine what China can do to them.

Thirdly, I was always against that decision but so far they haven't been defeated. Stupid or not, it has worked so far.

Man,I've been sympathetic to them for ages and they had been protective of Greek Orthodox in Syria during the war. But the problem with Lebanon was that...every political party or movement had its own militia. And that created chaos. There couldn't be a unified country with unified armed forces under the control of a functioning government. Everybody knew Hizbollah was better armed than the Lebanese Army! I remember the mocking here on Greek news back in 2006. They Lebanese Army could not disarm them and the problem is that,while valuable for Lebanon in various times,this militia and others
were eventually a burden as they are a State within a State and one that functions as the mouthpiece of another country. On the other hand,the Druze and Maronites themselves had fucked up badly in the Lebanese civil war....

I think I called this awhile back they’re going to send a large airborne troops parachute them in with heavy weaponry but first try to bomb Iran defenses on the coast of Iran which if they knew where they were they would’ve bombed them by now so they’re just going to bomb every building insight

Im thinking give Iranian citizens Grenades too. More concealable, lots more to hand out to Iranian citizens, more user friendly, plenty deadly, can lob them 50 yards, (Then turn around going back to your business) ,and would have the IRGC walking around like Paranoid schizophrenics with shit stained trousers.

You would have to have guns too, however guns are not very concealable. One Iranian citizen (a mole), could rat out anyone he sees to the IRGC. Thats instant death for the citizens. Grenades would work extremely well as a terrorrizing/demoralizing option. Who knows who has one in his pocket . IRGC could catch you with the grenade, However you can just pull the safety pin and have your finger over the striker , if he shoots you, hes dead too.

Let's discuss the bolded part. What exactly is it that leads you to believe Iran hasn't been trying to develop a nuclear weapon? For what purpose(s) then does 60% enriched uranium serve then if not for an intended nuclear weapon? Perhaps a bargaining chip?

Some flaws in assessment but yes American LNG sector is booming.

These analysts are not looking at the bigger picture. Current GCC investment in US is around $2 trillion, their planned investment is over $1trn.

If they are making less oil and gas revenue, they will have less to invest. Those petrol dollars will somewhat stall. The US will lose out on lots of future investment potentially.

Other point the US can't meet the LNG needs for rest of the world their terminals are already at total capacity and making new liquidation plants will take years. This will increase cost of fuel globally which will increase costs for all raw materials and we will see high levels of inflation. Remember the US is a net consumer that inflation will only get worse if a short to medium term solution isn't found.

Third point higher inflation, higher volatility = people buying more treasury bonds pushing interest rates and yields higher which = cost of borrowing for US government increases which makes that $39trn debt get worse.

Iran has trumpy by the balls thats why he will try a land invasion to take control of the straits. The dead american soldiers will be cannon fodder for him, make no mistake his thinking about his own and his billionaire buddies bank balances not the average American jo on the street.

Due to OpSec the damage in Israel has been veiled.

One video of an Indian guy showing the damage in Dimona gives you a picture of what happens when few missiles drop without being intercepted.

I am sure many blocks in different cities in Israel look something similar.

Having said that, Iran needs to retaliate at the strikes by US and Israel on its power plants.
