The US 15-point is probably based on something real as they are the ones peddling this negotiation nonsense.

Also, I know for a fact that several Iranian MPs have set demands for peace talks with the US. Not in a negotiation setting, but as a requirement for a possible peace treaty in the future.

As you said, this war can only end with a peace treaty now that regime change is no longer an option.

U.S. embargo needs to be lifted and U.S. needs to commit investing 100B+ in Iranian oil, gas, and rare earth metals.

Without US having skin in the game and benefiting from Iran’s development, any sanctions relief will be dead on arrival, as the world (EU, Asia, and Russia) stays clear of Iran for fear of potential new sanctions in the future because there are no American companies.

Thus US needs to invest heavily in the Iranian economy and prosper alongside Iran. This will make it very hard for any future administration to cancel as the final losses would be high.

It’s basically the May 2025 deal that Argachi assured us wasn’t what Steve Witkoff was actually saying in the negotiation room……just before we got bombed in June 2025.

In Urdu language, it is said 'The elephant has one set of teeth to intimidate others, and another set of teeth to chew on its food'.
Both sides have maximalist demands but some realism from the war is setting in both sides. I posted a NY Times link just above. While NY Times has a certain journalistic bias for Israel, it is also ruthless against Trump and also tries to present news as news. NY Times, by anonymous contacts with White House, is hinting at Trump really wants a way out of this war.

It will be very important to note if there is going to be discussions in Islamabad or not in coming few days and if VP Vance going there or not. The likes of Whitkoff and Kushner are Israelis agents and carry no weight in negotiations. But Vance does and he is against his war.
 
You know the **** are about to run out of interceptors when they're requesting a month long ceasefire lol, they must think Iranians are stupid. There is no way Iran is going to agree to this, and its going to be painful for that illegal state in ME - time to get back in sewage shelters you ****, it'll be raining missiles over your heads soon. Well, then let's wait and see if the negotiations are real or not. Negotiating based on what Iran was offered before is a form of face-saving surrender.
