But I don't think Trump and his advisors didn't know that Iran was not only going to survive but also sustain the war and inflict pain to the adversaries. Netanyahu certainly knew the progression of this war. There were no illusions about another Venezuela like operation!

But Netanyahu still convinced Trump to launch this war to achieve the minimal goal of Israel which is to militarily and economically degrade Iran for decades to come while Netanyahu would take advantage of the almost three years of Trump in office to gobble up Gaza, south Lebanon, and do something even worse in the West Bank.
The attackers are not naive. They had their goals and they want to achieve those goals. Whether they succeed or not will depend on the resilience and fighting capability of the Iranian nation, which is formidable.

Never believe Israeli Juice numbers. In a skirmish with Islamic Jihad, Israelis claimed no fatalities. After 7th of October, the mothers of dead soldiers in one city raised pictures of their deceased sons (soldiers) and they were in the #teens. I don't remember the exact number but between 13-19. That skirmish lasted few days only.

We all say the devastation of the attack on Dimona residence and araad or arad. Israelis in their groups claimed over a 100 dead and over a hundred wounded in Dimona only. You are so right Kharg Island might be a distraction from the real target. I really do hope Russia and Chinese have been able to gather intelligence on Americas true plans and forwarded it to Tehran.

The fact that they don’t already have ground troops in place before they started bombing makes me think that they didn’t think this thing all the way through..we’re they really expecting to air strike Iran in to submission.

Kharj Island is a potential target as it puts pressure on Iranian Energy revenues but enemy will not be able to smuggle anything from it. Iran might respond by destroying US allies energy infrastructure or put ground troops on GCC countries when the time is right.

Another target is the surrounding area of Strait of H as it is the chocking point that strangles the West and the assassination of IRGC Navy General was the starting point to disrupt the defenses. UAE might join and go full retard.

Also, you have the missile cities which house Iran's Ace weapon in the war so far. If Iran cannot launch, it is basically over.

Unless they know if there is enriched uranium somewhere, they will not go and dig for it. I could be wrong.

Israel had targeting coordinates for both Araghchi and Qalibaf. Active targeting. Coordinates confirmed. Elimination imminent. Pakistan’s intelligence detected the Israeli plan.
