Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Well looks like on the coming weekend ground invasion is coming. All signals are pointing in that direction.
So, nothing has changed since yesterday. Reformists in Iran seem to think that talks are going to happen. I don't know who to believe anymore.

They don't have a choice. Any electronic use the US will know, geo-locate and kill. It's likely he or his staff used an electronic device to communicate and was taken out.
They should switch to Chinese encrypted satellite phones, assuming that China can be trusted.

This is one of the most extraordinary diplomatic disclosures of the entire war. Read what actually happened here.

Israel had targeting coordinates for both Araghchi and Qalibaf. Active targeting. Coordinates confirmed. Elimination imminent. Pakistan’s intelligence detected the Israeli plan. Pakistan went directly to Washington with one argument: if you let Israel kill these two men, there is no one left in Iran with any civilian authority capable of signing anything. The IRGC hardliners take over completely and permanently.

Washington agreed and ordered Israel to stand down.

That sequence reveals several things simultaneously that have not been this visible before.

First, Pakistan’s intelligence services are running surveillance on Israeli targeting operations close enough to detect imminent strikes on specific individuals. That is an extraordinary intelligence capability being openly deployed in a diplomatic context.

Second, the US has genuine operational control over Israeli targeting decisions when it chooses to exercise it. Israel had coordinates and intent. Washington said no and Israel stopped. That relationship and its limits is now publicly documented.

Third, and most significantly, the US assessment is that Araghchi and Qalibaf are the last viable civilian interlocutors in Iran. Every other figure capable of delivering an agreement has been killed. Larijani gone. Defense Minister gone. SNSC Secretary gone. IRGC commander gone. Intelligence Minister gone. IRGC Navy commander killed this morning. The list of people Washington can negotiate with is now exactly two names long and Israel had targeting coordinates for both of them this morning.

The WSJ confirmed they have been removed from the hit list for four to five days. That is the precise duration of the diplomatic window. When the window expires Saturday and no deal is reached, the question of whether those two names go back on the list becomes the most consequential single decision of this war.

Pakistan just saved the last negotiating channel that exists. For now.

I don't think trophy can do anything against top down attacks. It's more for ground level threats.
Remember also Hizbollah uses from two side by side Kornet/Delavieh launchers to simultaneus firing from same position just to deceive the APS. They know perfectly how to nullify the system.

ISLAMABAD: ‌Israel took Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Parliamentary Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf off its hit list after Pakistan requested that Washington not target them, a Pakistani source with knowledge of the discussions told Reuters on Thursday.

“The Israelis had their coordinates and wanted to take them out, we told the US if they are also eliminated then there is no one else to talk to, hence the US asked the Israelis to back ‌off,” the ‌source said.

Pakistan’s military and foreign office ‌did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Israeli Defense Minister said on Thursday Senior Revolutionary Guard Navy commanders were killed alongside Ali Reza Tanksiri.

The Wall Street Journal first reported that the two top Iranian officials had been temporarily removed from Israel’s list of officials to eliminate as they explore possible peace talks. The two officials have been removed from the list for up to four or five days, the Journal said, citing ‌US officials, but did not ‌mention any Pakistani role in it.

Pakistan, Egypt and Turkiye ‌are playing the role of mediator between Tehran and ‌Washington to end the Iran war.

Islamabad has maintained direct contact with both Washington and Tehran at a time when such channels are frozen for most other countries. Islamabad has ‌also been seen as a likely venue if peace talks are held.

Iran is reviewing a 15-point proposal from US President Donald Trump, sent through Pakistan, to end the war. The proposal calls for removing Iran’s stocks of highly enriched uranium, halting enrichment, curbing its ballistic missile program and cutting off funding for regional allies, according to Israeli cabinet sources familiar with the plan.

Trump has said Iran is desperate to make a deal, while Araqchi said Tehran was reviewing the US proposal but had no intention of holding talks to wind down the conflict.

...(continue)... Pakistan informed US that if Israel kills Abbas Aragchi and Ghalibaf, there will be no one left in Iran to talk to. Iran will be taken over by the hardcore IRGC commanders.

At this, US intervened and stopped Israel from carrying out strikes to eliminate Aragchi and Ghalibaf. "

- Pakistani official to Reuters

After Friday evening it wont matter as US-rael is about to nuke Iran in at least 2 locations. Kuwait gave out radiation warnings and a foreshadowing clip uploaded to the White House twitter feed gives it all away. The invasion might be a feint and the the Orcs might just have decided to murder millions.

" In a flurry of posts on X, Uganda’s military chief Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, now well-known for firing off wild statements he later deletes or apologizes for, weighed in on the Iran war. He stood in solidarity with Israel and suggested Uganda could enter the war if Israel faces defeat.

If Tehran dares hit us with missiles, we shall retaliate with our own missiles,” he added, saying Israel “only need ask” for support from “their Ugandan brothers.”

He said any attempt to “destroy or defeat Israel” would bring Uganda “into the war… on the side of Israel,” and separately offered his take on Cuba, claiming an “colonialist” or “imperialist” attack there would mark “the beginning of World War 3.”

In a separate, now-deleted post on X, General Kainerugaba added that Israel and the US could have taken Tehran “in 72 hours,” and without bombing, had they sought Uganda’s help: “But of course they never listen to a black man.”

I hope the Iranians are smart enough to avoid attacking Uganda .

It's day 27.

Many people on this thread said that the US won't last even a week because of oil prices, inflation and body bags. So what happened?

On 23 March 2026, CENTCOM had reported that the US had hit Iran with over 9,000 missiles and bombs.

9,000 strikes over 24 days works out to 375 strikes daily.

Americans: You can't stop a war with ballistic missiles and drones only.

What are you talking about, iranians effectively expelled americans from region and now they are trying with last card available to carve out better negotiation position if this land incursion operation proves as failure in upcoming period whole political america will collapse in turmoil.
