Industrialized and militarily powerful are not the same thing. Germany is also quite industrialized with a very good reputation throughout the world, but it's not militarily powerful.Japan would readily join an attack on China. So would South Korea if the push came to shove. They are among the most industrialized countries in the world.
China also has its pet state, North Korea, led by the nuke-loving rocket man, to join the nuclear war.
Japan is a de-facto nuclear state, but they won't get to be an actual nuclear state when shit hits the fan. Just like Iran's theory of the threshold nuclear state failed miserably. You either have a large enough nuclear arsenal with megaton nukes or you don't.
South Korea can go there as well, but again, as long as you haven't developed a large arsenal of strategic nukes, it is suicidal to launch an all-out war against a nuclear state.
If China allowed the US to pull an Iran on them, the Chinese would have to be one of the least intelligent and competent people in the world because they have all the cards they need to prevent that by a pre-emptive strike.
Anyway, we're off-topic.
