Unforunately for one reason or another, we lost the amazing momentum we had built up.

Maybe it was due to the Iran ceasefire talks in Islamabad, maybe it was due to backlash from the Kabul drug addict strike (pathetic, if true), maybe it was due to pressure from "allies" and other actors?

We were doing well. We could have continued to escalate. Talks with these scum are never in good faith.

This is probably true btw. There is likely a significant Taliban, or general Afghan, lobby in Pindi & Islamabad.

Going along with bombings doesn't neccessarily mean they suddenly view Afghanistan as an enemy, they probably had no justifications left to prevent it but still shield the Afghans in other ways.

"Afghans" for you=Pashtuns. Stop spreading misinformation. Afghan Hazaras, Tajiks, Uzbeks etc... Recognize the durand line and dont claim any part of Pakistan as part of Afghanistan.

The term Afghan is a bit misunderstood. Many people think Afghan refers to Afghanistan's Pashtuns. Others claims Afghan means all Pashtuns (in both Afghanistan and Pakistan). Generally we use the word Afghans to refer to all people living in Afghanistan. TBH, no clear definition exists for it. Anyhow, thanks for pointing that out. Let's hope some clearer understanding emerges.

Afghanistan and Taliban Lovers are all over, MIlitary, National Assebly, provicial Assemblies, Jounalists and public. and we know who allowed and protecting them.

KPK is qurbani ka bakra to blame the failure.

Border control, stopping infiltrations and IBOs are not any provicial Govt resposbilities. As we have seen during this Operation and previous once, when we are eliminating threats on and across the border, with IBOs terrorism decreased more than 60%, remaining in due to terrorists already within Pakistan, which again requires Intelligence based.

KPK shares border with Afganistan, and that border was left unckecked, for the reasons our Civ and Mil authorities considered it to be benificial, but it did not workout as planned.

So, what we seeing now is not failure of any provincial Govt., its a result of Federal / Mil policies.

KPK awam and Govt are just frustrated and victim of these failed policies and directly affected and suffering.

Finally, if we do our job to manage the border and spare some Intelligence resoucrces for this purpose, this monster can be controlled and killed, Internally and externally, instead of blaming the provicial Govt and our own citizens, which causes more division,

Pakistan must ask bordering afghan states to join pakistan as "pakistan's extended states---. Gain pakistani citizenship status.

Afghanistan needs to be broken up into smaller pieces---.

I like the Pakistani approach.

They attack, we retaliate but each time we occupy a few kilometres of Afghan territory.

We have a cease-fire, we keep the territory, and work on integrating the occupied territory with Pakistan.

Few months or few years later, we repeat this process, and keep grabbing more territory from Afghanistan. But we want to be careful that we only grab enough and not too much so ordinary Afghans don't feel the loss.

We don't need to fight wars at Afghan level but at smart level.

This is what China has been doing with India for the last couple of decades without making much noise.

The goal I thought was to eliminate and punish terrorists and not to permanently occupy afghan territory.

We cannot have 3000 people killed every time to start an operation and that too just to capture few kilometers of afghanistan?
