Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

From the perspective of the Chinese, Al Jazeera is the most pro-west middle eastern media outlet.
In what ways is it pro-West? I didn't get that impression. But I'm an Arabic speaking person on top of English being my main language. I speak Arabic very well and only watch AJ Arabic and only follow Arabic news pages. The AJ English doesn't come close to quality of coverage of AJ Arabic.

I think for China to be covered more in Arabic media, is for it to extend outreach in Middle East and involve itself in Arab world more. For GCC that would also entail security partner. For rest of Arabs we just don't have much exposure to China.
They are Arabs, but keep using the talking points of the westerners.

No wonder our Iranian friends feel the same.
Al Jazeera has presenting balanced coverage so far. Has plenty of Iranian analysts from inside Iran and as guests in Doha speaking on Al Jazeera about iranian demands, and how to keep this war from spreading. GCC nations have allowed Iran to hit them for 40 days ongoing. Just so this doesn't expand into what Israel and the US wanted. Iran in return has mostly refrained from targeting some critical infrastructure of these nations and has been measured in its rhetoric

Have you heard of a transponder

Yes that is why I was looking at it on FlightRadar. Although, have you ever heard of a word called "context" ? Please read all the way back, what my post was in relation to, before commenting.

This is your chance to get launchers ready for tonight to target and hit a vital infrastructure inside Israel

Power Plant
Intel factories
Gas facilities

Etc.....

You know, if both sides had the imagination and if iran has one of the pilots alive, this could be used as a very handy way to desculate the situation liek we did with Abhi in 2019.

Both sides save face. Iran looks like the bigger country and humane and Trump touts he got his boy/girl back.

So it sounds like the pilot got cocky and was caught flying low level if it was an Infrared based system...

Not true about being low flying.

IR Can be used on any type of missile doesn’t have to be just manpad or SHORAD.

Iran has put EO on longer range systems as well:

With EO/IO optics you can get ranges even as far 300KM if the tech is sufficiently developed.

I think that is the future: medium to long range passive optics to create silent AD killers. That should be Iran’s focus once the war is over rather than relying on big bulky radar set ups that can be detected based on their radiation leakage.

At this point, given what Israel has attacked, Iran should have by now destroyed all of Israel power generation and oil infrastructure targets, but it has at best made 1 or 2 hits and destroy a single power generation facility or oil storage or processing facility out of the many that Israel has. 1 or 2 "targeting", and then they seem to think that is it ??
Absolutely disagree with this.
Iran's civilian infrastructure is still functioning normally. Targeting all Israeli power plants and oil infrastructure would lead to the obliteration of our infrastructure in return. It's nothing but suicidal.

Israel is much smaller than Iran with fewer power plants, refineries, etc. As long as Iran's critical infrastructure is functioning, going all berserk on Israel is nothing but suicidal.

I think the IRGC are doing a fine job of target selection so far. They are doing reciprocal attacks and most of them have been successful so far. We can't control the escalation ladder because we're fighting with two nuclear powers with air superiority and insane amount of fire power that completely dominate our skies.
