Here is my take on the Iran-USA ceasefire and upcoming negotiations. First and foremost, congratulations to the Pakistani leadership on achieving this victory not just for Pakistan but for the entire world. Secondly, now starts the hard part of having talks in a safe, civilized, and fruitful manner, and making sure that it leads to a long-term peace deal. Now let's discuss a scenario. Let's see the USA and Iran reach a deal, and in that deal, Iran gets the USA to agree to most of its terms, as the USA won't agree to all. This deal would have far-reaching consequences. First and foremost, we can predict that this would be the start of the collapse of the USA as a military and economic power. Iran would be a regional hegemon, and if it ends up controlling Hormuz, which means it would make Middle Eastern countries furious, which could really harm Pakistan's relations with those countries. China would be a great benefactor, but if it wants to hold on, then it should drop the fear of using force or starting a war; otherwise, it won't be beneficial for China in the long run. Europe would go back to the old days of having really large military forces to keep Russia at bay. Pakistan's role on the global stage will rise, but until we resolve our local political and economic issues, it won't last long. All major powers that lack nuclear weapons need to go nuclear if they want to remain independent and safe. Pakistan needs to go for more nukes, develop ICBMs and SLBMs, induct SSBNs, and other military equipment that gives it offensive firepower and capability to strike anywhere in the world. The creation of the new world order begins.
