Turkiye is now a Country that can design and manufacture sub-meter resolution electro-optical satellite Cameras domestically

The new GOKTURK-Y Satellite with 30 cm high resolution

Türkiye exported satellite Camera to Pakistan.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

These Countries largely developed both the Satellites and the sub-meter resolution (typically 0.3-1 m) electro-optical Camera using their own technology

USA , Russia , China , Turkiye , Israel , France , India , Japan , S.Korea
When did it exported cameras , any source?
30 m or 30 cm?
PRSC -E01 has a said resolution of 1 m i think @Pakistan Space Agency any details?

Announced in 2023 , Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank announced that Satellite Camera being exported to Pakistan

The Camera is Türkiye's first domestically produced satellite camera with sub-meter resolution 0.90 cm (from the İMECE Satellite project)

The new Camera is with resolution under 0,30 cm for GOKTURK-Y Satellite

This whole turkish military-industrial development is a lot of bravado!

Turkey is DEEPLY dependent on the West!

Long range Air Defense Systems
USA : PATRIOT
Russia : S400 , S500
China : HQ-9
Turkiye : SIPER-1/2
France/Italy : SAMP-T
Israel : BARAK-MX , DAVID's SLING
Germany : SLX

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Exoatmospheric Anti Ballistic Missile Systems
USA : THAAD , SM-3 , GMD
Russia : S-500 , A-235
Israel : ARROW-3
China : HQ-19
India : PDV

under development
Turkiye : SIPER-3/4/5
France/Italy : ASTER-30 Block-2 BMD
S.Korea : L-SAM

MKE TOLGA Close Air Defense System achieves its third export success

Turkey need only Anti ballistic missiles not whole system, we can integrate them on SIPER , i hope we dont get whole eoropean system

I'm confused too, SIPER already exists, I understand Block 2 is still in development and maybe the SAMP-T is a more mature product with a larger envelope than Block 1 SIPER, or maybe this is an entry point into joint development on the Anti Ballistic Missile component of SAMP.

SIPER-3/4/5 will have anti-Balistic capability in years

But , SAMP-T has already anti-Balistic capability that we need
ASTER-30 Block1 NT to intercept Ballistic Missiles up to 1.500 km ..... ( France - Italy has started using ASTER-30 Block1 NT as of 2026 )

And ASTER-30 Block-2 BMD is under development to intercept Ballistic Missiles up to 3.000 km ... ( exo atmoshperic )

So , ASTER-30 Block 1 NT strengthens layered air defense, particularly against ballistic and hypersonic threats

SIPER-1/2 against Fighter Jets
ASTER-30 Block1 NT against Ballistic Missiles
And S400s can be stay in ANKARA or to protect AKKUYU Nuclear Powerplant

Very strange.
One you have S400, and fine tune SIPER, why do you need another long range SAM ?

Neither SIPER nor S400 has hit to kill ABM interceptor. Aster 30 B1 NT provides that.
Additionally, there's a political aspect to consider. The EU is working on establishing an AD coverage linked to NATO, but at the same time which could be separated and sustained independently from the US if necessary. Even though Greece opposes Turkey's involvement, including Ankara in this network is something that Paris can support, or at least the French aren't backing Greece's stance (anymore). When you look at the map and to the Middle East crisis, it actually makes sense for Europe.

I'm not entirely sure if France has genuinely changed its position or if both sides can come to an agreement on technology and know-how transfers, since Turkey usually doesn't agree to deals without sharing tech. However, maybe the urgency from both sides will lead to some kind of fast tracked agreement that benefits both, Ankara and Brussels.

This purchase can also be seen within the context of this project:

The key takeaway here is that even if we decide to acquire this system, which is still very uncertain, it does not reflect poorly on our capability. We are all aware that we currently succeed in developing our own AD systems. We have the financial resources and the brains; we simply need additional time. It would be poor leadership to ignore the need for a temporary solution, regardless of what some critics may say or will say.
