I think back to only a few years ago when there was only old Hawk batteries, and Turkey had to buy old Soviet Air Defense systems from Ukraine to deploy to Libya, and now there is a full layered umbrella. 10 years from now it will be one of the best Air Defense eco systems in the world, with complete layered coverage, and the capacity to produce it all domestically in whatever amount needed, and freely able to export.

I thought you had some S-125s or S-200s from a long time ago. You only recently bought them for Libya? 🤷‍♂️

Malaysia wants to buy Turkish Air Defense.

I have writing this down a lot, Turkish defence industry future lies in Asia. Forget Middle East, Europe to but they will not buy because not to lose face. First export Kaan will be Asian country mark my words. Azerbadjian does not count as export.

Delivery of SİPER-1 to the Air Force Command!

🔸Ministry of National Defence:

'Various quantities of ALP 100-G Low Altitude Radar Systems and Seeker Head Radars, produced by ASELSAN, and the SİPER-1 Medium-Range Area Air and Missile Defense System Battery have been added to the inventory of our Air Force Command."

5 batteries are now in service iirc. Incredibly fast.

I hope they can keep up with this pace. It looks like neither our enemies nor our friends have noticed just how quickly our AD network is growing. Let's hope it stays this way for a long, long time.

We will have the best Airdefence systems in the Middle East when block2/3 is finished. 5 Batteries for the most countries is max. We will go to 1o at least, we have several abroad bases.

I think there is still work needed on the higher exo atmospheric intercepts. As of now the Israel with Arrow 3 might still have the advantage there.

Do you guys know how many launchers there are in a standard Turkish Siper battery? I know a single vehicle has 6 launchers

The system is capable of operating with eight Launch Missile Systems (FFS), each carrying six missiles.
