Maybe the Iranians will come by land? A bit risky for them to fly over unless it is a PAF VIP transport plane that they are going to use.

If talks happen and Iranians do arrive in Pakistan, they must be escorted by PAF while fully armed. Dont think it would be ceremonial escort. Even Americans needs to be escorted in similar fashion, too many spoilers around.

I don't believe any diplomat is that stupid to do such a thing and accept that will work as a ceasefire foundation. If that's true then why we are inviting them to islamabad and so they can negotiate face to face. You can't hide it. The only reason is a cancer like isreal that doesn't want peace. Don't believe online crap posted by indians. Most indians are pro isreal. Specially ones on X.

You could argue what military battles did they really have? given most of what they did was airstrikes against little airdefences and no counter airforce.

The real military currency vs Iran were its missile bases, they failed to disable 1 base, so tactically for me its a failure too.

Irans doctrine never relied on an airforce or navy so we are comparing conventional battles when Iran didnt play that game, it was asymmetrical where it won.

I agree. Even militarily US lost the war. After 40 days they still were unable to operate inside Iranian airspace freely.

Their targets were nuclear capability, missile program and overthrowing the Islamic Republic. All three failed miserably. Even worse they changed the Status quo prior belli that means that US bases will go out or retreated out of the GCC and Straits of Hormuz chokepoint stupidly lost.

US has been wiped out of the Persian Gulf.

Maybe it's conspiratorial thinking, but perhaps Trump is looking to dissolve NATO to open up the possibility of attacks on Turkey without them stepping in. Opinions @Eşbah ?

The United States is not planning to leave NATO. This is merely Trump attempting to intimidate the Europeans into supporting his pathetic war against Iran. Even if such a scenario were to occur, it would only increase the Europeans' reliance on Ankara. No US assistance, facing the Russians, and than alienating Turkey?

Spain is reopening its Tehran embassy after one month and joined France, the UK, Italy, Germany, and the EU Commission in a joint statement calling for the ceasefire to cover Lebanon. Albares, Barrot, and Cooper each condemned Israel's Wednesday strikes on Beirut as a violation threatening the agreement.

The Lebanon condition is the exact clause Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf cited yesterday when he walked out of the 10-point proposal before Saturday's Islamabad talks.

The ceasefire did cover Lebanon, and these people should asking both the USA and Israel to "honour" the terms of the ceasefire that was agreed to.

I said it before and i will say it again, please Mark my words, NATO will be used for ground invasion against Iran minus Turkey in it. Mark my word on it. This will happen to revitalize NATO and transform it into a global policing force.

I don't think so at all. No one is going to touch this war of choice, esp after the Greenland theatrics (which are still in play btw ). Lets see what happens.

NATO will not do anything without legal cover, and the UN vote recently was vetoed that "could" have given NATO legal cover to "try" and open the straits.
