From 10 points on the list, it looks like Iran is demanding US to surrender. Does anyone think Trump will accept that ?

No. If Trump accepts these ten peace terms, it would be an acknowledgment of defeat. That cannot deceive the Republican voter base. We must not forget that the Republicans have to face the midterm elections.

Let's look at the domestic propaganda in the United States.

On April 8 local time, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt dismissed media claims that U.S. President Trump had agreed to the ten ceasefire terms proposed by Iran.

At a press conference that day, Leavitt stated that the ten ceasefire terms published by Iran were completely different from the version ultimately agreed upon by Trump and his team. She clarified, 'The ten ceasefire terms initially proposed by Iran were completely unreliable and have been thoroughly rejected. President Trump and his negotiating team literally threw them into the trash.'


On April 8 local time, according to The New York Times, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Dan Kane stated that the U.S. military would continue to be stationed in the Middle East, 'and if ordered or called upon, we will resume combat operations with the same speed and precision demonstrated over the past 38 days.'

The report pointed out that President Trump knows that even if the U.S. and Iran fail to resolve issues after the two-week ceasefire expires, 'the political risk of restarting hostilities remains very high.'

Iran and the U.S. have different understandings of what was agreed

This is due to Iranian refusal to negotiate directly with the U.S. and Trump being a compulsive liar

In future, such statements must be documented and agreed in writing

The important part about the ceasefire announcement was not a premature celebration of coming to an end.

It creates a terms of reference on the distance and deception between Iran and USA and Israel.

That was the breakthrough no matter how dismissive some people are.

I just hope people can get realistic about how difficult this is to find any momentary common ground when things are just so apocalyptic sounding right now.

Pakistan or anyone who wants to get involved in resolving this has to somehow work between the USA, and Iran, continue to maintain trust and good offices, whilst protecting its own national interests, as if that's easy

Here is the thing, when Israel is clearly not adhering to the ceasefire, Iran should declare that yeah we will negotiate with America and we will continue our war with Israel, and American should not get involved in any capacity while Iran and Israel slog it out.

Besides the premise... once a nuke has been built, fielded and used... the onus has to be on it's deterrent value and not the destruction it causes... the genie is out of the bottle already.

Okay lets assume Iranians had a nuclear weapon tested and ready, may be this war could have been avoided (this has proven wrong in Pakistan vs india case, the conflict can still exist in some form and shape without escalation to dooms day scenario). But how would the region including Pakistan react to that presence? 2nd Islamic bomb? Or just a Persian bomb? It will certainly be perceived as a threat to the immediate region, given a chance Iranians would act like bullies (they did fire missiles at nuclear Pakistan). We cannot ignore that Iranians did not and still do not have a very rosy relationship with other Muslim countries in the region. Iran and its sympathizers can blame the countries for having US bases but why not share that blame as Iran presented a reason for those bases to be there, have they ever given any thought to that and try to correct those reasons?

So I’m not trying to be that guy and nothing against Pakistan really nothing against it at all Pakistanis as a whole have sided with Iran but and perhaps Pakistan is working in good faith but I don’t trust the Saudis at all they may have pushed Pakistan to get Iran for a ceasefire so Arabs under trump and Israel could commence an invasion because Pakistan has been attempting to play the neutral party in this and they are using Pakistan for ulterior motives that’s actually plausible

Yeah, this will require a lot of cordination between USAF and PAF.

My fear here is Israel attempting something. How do the Iranians fly over? In PAF plane or their planes? Who protects those planes?

If talks happen and Iranians do arrive in Pakistan, they must be escorted by PAF while fully armed. Dont think it would be ceremonial escort. Even Americans needs to be escorted in similar fashion, too many spoilers around.
