That makes zero sense. He will have lost the house and possibly the senate after the mid terms. He won’t have the political capital for such a maneuver.

Now if you said he was going to invade in 2-4 weeks at least you would have a plausible theory.

Al Jazeera has its own bias. When the Pak-Afghan conflict was going on, they were only bringing Afghans and non-Pakistanis (including Indian Muslims) to provide a "neutral" view when it was nothing close to that. Both sides were attacking Pakistani motives and the host would just nod along.

Doomer fake news analysis. US air power destroyed anything not buried under a mountain in Iran.

Saying the U.S. AirPower was in decline in this war is puzzling given the scale of destruction inside Iran. Let’s not forget the fact that prior to operation True Promise #1, delusional Iranians on here thought that Iranian missiles could level US airbases in the Middle East with just 50-100 missiles. Reality was US continued flying sorties out of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan and nearby carriers. The threat of Iranian missiles was just not lethal enough to suppress US AirPower.

If Iran had had an extended S-200 like system that could target aerial tankers flying in Saudi Arabia and Iraqi border from 200KM inside Iran, then sure maybe U.S. AirPower would have struggled due to disruption to aerial refueling. But iran proved it couldn’t even consistently target tankers which are big Slow defenseless glowing objects on radars.

Time is needed to move specialized, high-volume forces into the region and I doubt the Republican Party would lose both the house and senate in the midterms.

It happened two times and it will happen a third.
