I hope those Iranian members who were calling Pakistanis backstabbers just because a few of our jets were stationed in Saudi Arabia can feel at ease and be grateful not just because we tried to provide a platform to end the war for the betterment of the region and its people, but also because we ensured no harm came to our Iranian guests.

Put up the PAF against the IAF+USAF in a fight then we can talk!

Meaningless debate PAF isnt meant to fight usaf or iaf. But i can garuntee theyd do a hell of a better job than iranians. But if you are really curious you should read up on paf pilots who scored kills whilst fighting voluntarily for Arab airforces

Type 004 Carrier should be the start of that if its nuclear powered

I think china does have projection capability but regional for now.... Its not a fully blue water navy yet.

Its not about capability but intent, china doesnt really care about global power projection their scopes are limited to east asia only

I'm 100 percent sure they are fast tracking as we speak to take on the IAF at the very least...

I'm sure both Saudis and Pak realize that they can't take on IAF in current form... It will take too long for the Saudis to build another ecosystem so only option is to expand the Pakistani capabilities...

The challenge with having a strong airforce is that its very difficult to protect the airforce itself from someone like the US
Well to tell ya truth I am not too sure about that. Most use of Western jets is press a button and drop a bomb etc from a mile up there. When was the last time you saw a competent air force fighting against American Israeli etc. against Iraq? Libya? Syria? Iran? Hamas? hezbollah? Yet we always told about invincible IAF or USAF etc

Only place i can see in recent years western jets facing competent air force Pakistan faced Indian raffles and kicked their asses.

Oh and Pakistan jets at a fraction of the cost of western jets why do we accept that their kit is worth so much? Trump forces NATO armies to spend more and buy more kit of America and more money for Americans and jobs etc etc it look a bit scam to me

Less than 425 JAASM could be remaining. Lots from May 2025 were discovered in Iran. I assume the JAASM-ER situation is also dire. This all points to US only having 2-3 weeks of stand off munitions left.

IMO paf can reasonably fight back against iaf itself and protect own or saudi skies but that it lacks the means to give adequate retaliatory response or deter them entirely

Many people do not understand that technologically matching the airforce of USA is impossible for Iran.

They can not manufacture even 4th gen warplanes from scratch, forget competing with 5th gen warplanes. Its USA's domain.

They did something strategically intelligent. They stopped playing a game they couldn't win and dominated a field they could. They went all-in on ballistic and cruise missile technology. Precise, fast, relatively cheap to produce at scale, and impossible to fully intercept.

Missiles don't need pilots. Missiles don't need runways. Missiles don't need an entire industrial base to keep flying.

It's asymmetric warfare done right. You don't fight your enemy's strength. You build a weapon that neutralizes it.

And people glorifying PAF should not forget that its NO MATCH for USAF and not likely to win against IAF for a simple reason that PAF has ZERO 5th gen warplanes while IAF has 70+.
Bullseye! You've hit on the nail.

Shahzad Iqbal is a credible Pakistani journalist and now that the dust is starting to settle after the exits of the American and the Iranian delegates and information is starting to come out, Shahzad seems to think there was indeed some progress and substantial understanding between the two sides.
One thing he says in this video--which I too have said yesterday--was that Iran is not as hellbent on the nuclear material / weapons as it seems. I believe it is a strong bargaining chip than credible nuclear weapons Iran would be able to develop to target a far off country like Israel. Iran has missed that boat! It is very important to note that leading to this war, the so-called negotiations were almost done because Iran was willing to concede much more than what was conceded in the original JCPOA. But the Israelis didn't like the JCPOA and Israelis didn't like the even more generous concessions Iran was making in the pre-war negotiations: Israel's goals are destruction of Iran as a state!

Shahzad is hinting toward Iran keeping the fissile material under close supervision or sending to some foreign country as long as Iran's other demands are met, starting with Lebanon and the Iranian missiles capability (the video doesn't mention the missiles though but I bring it up!).
