China won't get into war with US unless it is absolutely necessary like its existential is involved and there are no other ways around. Doesn’t make sense for 2nd round talks if US position is the same one from May 2025 - no enrichment, no missiles, no proxies and in exchange some easily reversible sanctions relief and partial frozen funds access.

Currently U.S. thinks it can get a much better deal and won’t truly compromise till the global economy begins to turn.
