Very well said.. although it certainly won't be overnight. There's going to be some mending that needs to be done.

And you're also correct, some people on PDF underestimate the USA and its muscle. A lot of hopium on their part because they wish to see the downfall of USA

Pakistan is backed by superpower China to negotiate a deal so no matter who was in power it would be the same.

Agree - the relationship is built on personalities and that is always temporary. India has a much deeper relationship build on agreements, and treaties and for which even now, with the state of relationship, India is extracting far far far more from the USA than Pakistan can dream of. This is the problem when you politics is based on the cult of personality of who the Army Chief is, or who is the leader of some political chair swapping.

I don't think many people here disagree with this.
