Also the range on this one seems to be quite a bit longer then the previous ones.

How do you know the range is longer?

It has a active radar homing seeker so yes.

To utilize the extra range they would need guidance from Sea sultans or Sea eagles.

It may have extended range, but I don't think the NOTAM area is any reflection of what range it could be, that's usually to keep unwanted aircraft away from the test area.

I wonder how far away is SMASH from being operationalized, PN firing it from the Babur would sort of indicate it's somewhat close.
