Cost of Iran War Not Included in Pentagon’s $1.5 Trillion Budget Request
The cost of the US war with Iran was not included in President Trump's request for a massive $1.5 trillion military budget for 2027, according to a Pentagon budget official. The record-shattering budget is a nearly 50% increase over this year’s $1 trillion budget, but the Trump administration is going to ask Congress for even more military spending to make up for depleted weapons and other military operations related to the Iran war.
Initial reports said the administration was planning to request $200 billion for the war, but the number may be revised down to $80 billion or $100 billion. Russell Vought, the director of the White House’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB), told lawmakers last week that he didn’t have a “ballpark” estimate to share.

U.S. Energy Exports Hit Records as World Adjusts to a Closed Persian Gulf
The war in the Middle East has bolstered America’s status as an energy-exporting powerhouse, with Asia and Europe clamoring for every shipment of U.S. crude, natural gas and jet fuel they can get.
U.S. exports of crude and petroleum products rose to a record last week, nearly 12.9 million barrels a day, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Shipments of liquefied-natural gas have also jumped, according to ship-tracking firm Kpler, with exports setting an all-time high last month.
The frenzy shows no signs of slowing: More than 60 empty crude supertankers were steaming toward the Gulf Coast as of Wednesday, roughly triple prewar levels and a sign that U.S. exports will only rise further in the months ahead.
President Trump has celebrated the U.S.’s growing footprint in global energy trade, reinforcing the “energy dominance” strategy his administration is pursuing. The U.S. this month nearly flipped to a net exporter of crude for the first time in weekly government data going back to 2001. (It became a net gas exporter in 2017 thanks to the shale-fracking boom).

To continue ! Iran hasn't just got herself royally screwed , she got the entire region screwed along with her...not good for Pakistan either , lots of Pakistani expats in the gulf region will loose their jobs .... lesser remittances means balance of payment crisis will excessaberate.....

Deplete your oil reserves first during times of peace so that you have less oil reserves to use in times of war. A strategic blunder.

Americans consume more oil than they produce. They consume 20M BPD . America produce 13M BPD. Exporting more oil will only force US to import more foreign oil. Higher fuel prices for Americans at the pumps. Americans who supports this Administration are nuts.

Do you have reading disabilities ? Read the WSJ article carefully... America is exporting 12.8 million bpd , certainly after meeting her domestic needs ... WTI crude at today's price is 8 dollars cheaper than Brent crude.....when the war ends oil prices will fall like in the COVID days , may go below 40 dollars a barrel...
That's not a bad news for poor developing countries.

Energy exports help no one but the oil companies. The exporting of energy out of The United States will drive up energy costs in The United States which will drive up inflation. This move by President Trump will make oil companies in America wealthier as they sell oil at inflated rates due to the war and hurt the American people and the US economy at a time when people can't afford ford housing and health care… etc etc.

The US military were dominant in this war. Damage overall was minimal. The USAF/USN are already back to using air bases in the gulf. The satellite footage is there, I just can’t post it due to mods requesting me not to.
This narrative that Iran destroyed the Gulf bases are false.
