Trump says one officer shot at DC dinner, suspect in custody

The security was minimal and building insecure and the Hilton has been the scene of an assassination attempt with Regan.
It also raises many questions, the first being how the hell did the dude get in with a gun, breach some barriers, before he was able to draw and shoot. He didn't get in the ballroom which is a plus.
But it's the crazy world of anything to do with Trump.

I believe the hotel stays open to the public, just the ballroom part is typically secured 🤔.

The assassination of the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, by actor John Wilkes Booth at Ford’s Theatre, Washington DC on April 14, 1865.

Weird? How does someone get in with a weapon to an event where the US president and his administration is attending? Inside job or incompetence
Not a person who spends time delving in conspiracies, but I can't help but wonder...

Psychological skin color is more important than actual skin color. If he thinks he is white, then this criminal is white.

For example, Indian white supremacists can be seen everywhere on X. Should people of color bear the responsibility of these white supremacists?

dude, SS doesn't do take down, especially with guns involved, whether or not the gunman shoots, you eliminate the threat,t then move on, because you don't know if that is the only threat.

And the response time looks really suspect, either the SS is not about to protect him, or they know this is not a threat, you don't retrieve someone after 4 or 5 shots being fired, regardless of who fired those shots. And then slowly evacuate him, I mean, how do you know he is the only one carrying?

In fact, I can do you one better; it was a uniform officer, not a Close Protection Detail, that first responded. Those CPD would have jumped on him when they heard the gunshot, not some uniform SS member.

Dude, I have worked close protection for many, many years, and I have never seen a protection detail do something like that.

He apparently got stopped by the Secret Service stationed further down the hallway.
I think the footage shows a mix of hotel security, DC police, and Secret Service officers at the checkpoint. It looks like a DC cop or hotel security was the guy in black with short sleeves who quickly pulled his gun as the gunman quickly ran directly by him.

Interesting that they got JD Vance out "first" before Trump ...
That shows how incompetent the US secret service is. On the videos, pure chaos among them. It seems to me Vietnam communist chief To Lam is better protected by Vietnam secret service, with much less money.

Oh well...there's always next time as they say

they only look good in hollywood movies

in real life these days, its fully compromised as well as incompetence

its been a long time coming, now the empire is in freefall......and the zionists will ensure that, sooner rather than later

Again, the same 2 questions

1.) Where was the Secret Service? As I said, I don't care who tackles the man, or who fires the shot, POTUS should have been covered from shot 1. He can hear the shot from inside, mean that's close enough to the threat for the agent. This isn't the street outside, again, when Trump can hear it loudly, and the camera picks up on it, that's "CLOSE", as in what "Close Protection" stands for

2.) You tell me someone brought in a gun, and then passed through some sort of check point which there should be a metal detector, unless you are telling me there are no checkpoints before the room that he was in, then I will say, what if I brought in a bomb? You had checkpoints starting 100 yards + in the perimeter, because of anything that goes boom, we have a gate outside our FOB and a concrete barrier because of that, and you tell me they don't have those with the President? Then are you telling me the "gunman" wasn't killed outright, bringing a gun literally and physically outside where the president was, and he lives to tell the tale? Dude, this isn't 1865 or 1987. He had a gun, he ran = you shot him, and if the SS stopped him, and they shot, he should be dead.
