This is actually very positive, laying the ground for the Iranian people before announcment of talks?

Meeting of the Commander of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya with Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces

Major General Ali Abdollahi, during his meeting with the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, presented a detailed report on the readiness level of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran; including the Army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, internal security forces, security agencies, border guards, the Ministry of Defense, and the valiant mobilization forces.

Yup! Pretty much, they need to inform Iranian people first to avoid confusion. Same thing for many countries.

That a faraway nation dictates what fraternal nations of Iran and Pakistan can buy and sell to each other is a travesty
that faraway nation is our biggest export customer , we do business with you we lose them
We should have the most robust of trade, cultural and political exchanges.
agreed
neuter sanctions is by ignoring them
thats the thing we cant .

Easy, right now Pakistan is taking massive diplomatic hits in both opening up several land corridors for Iran and has basically finished it's relationship with UAE as we did not criticise several Iranian actions.
From my perspective, relations between Iran and Pakistan had a fundamental reset in June 2025, and have been improving ever since then.

There are still many issues to resolve and areas for growth, but the trajectory is very clear.

Hezbollah releases video of 2 FPV strikes on the same target in north occupied Palestine. the first strike severely damages an active Iron Dome launcher while the second targets a group of IDF terrorists, who flee in panic as the FPV drone dives onto their heads

yet another FPV strike shows a Hezbollah drone chasing and hunting down an IDF terrorist in Shlomi, north occupied Palestine. Israel claims the terrorist was 'critically wounded'.

This calculus made sense until Feb 27 as there was little downside to enforcing sanctions on Iran. Going forward some choices may have to be made. Like opening the valve on the gas line from Iran vs importing energy from the US.

For sure, and I think Pakistan willing to jepordise it's relationship with UAE and Bahrain shows where Pakistan's leadership feels the future is. Obviously the great balancing act was with Qatar and Saudi, who are now seeking peace and backing Pakistani efforts. You will have noticed the almost zero diplomatic contact or calls between UAE/Bahrain and Pakistan recently, which is bizzarre considering current events in the region. Iran is the only economic way Pakistan can trade on a big scale with Europe and Central Asia, Iran in itself is also a huge market. Likewise at one point pipeline, train and road access to India via Pakistan can help Iran greatly

Once cal easily see how a post war world is starting to look like, and the Makthoums and Al Khalifa's looking increasingly uneasy on their thrones. If Saudi and Iran come to an agreement these small states who basically survive on Iranian and Saudi goodwill may see their end soon.

Why haven't they been used in the war? They could have acted as distractions for US warships before the missiles come in
