Call ISPRHow do we know it's a cruise missile, and also supersonic from a single still photo?
Why ISPR? They didn't announce anything.Call ISPR
Because they literally showed a supersonic cruise missile in that single still photo. If the ISPR video guy was told to use a pic of a Shahed drone and call it "Fatah Munna" he would've done that. How do we know it's a cruise missile, and also supersonic from a single still photo?
They are the ones who revealed this photo in that song. So the only question is what this is, and by the looks of it looks a lot like Chinese HD 1.Why ISPR? They didn't announce anything.
Just want to ask, since we are going to discuss the Fatah series here that means all the other related missiles whether its ground launched or air launched or ship/submarine launched that does not fall under the umbrella of ARFC will be discussed in the Pakistan Missiles thread right? If the topic needs editing, how about
PA Rocket Force Command / Fatah Series News
news & discussions only because 'updates' sounds unnecessary.Updates& Discussions.
And Please also remove Fatah 1, Fatah2 from the title of this other thread so it can focus on other artillery.
"PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery
[BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II]- News,Updates& Discussions "
So they showed a picture of a Chinese missile and we have assumed we are acquiring it?Because they literally showed a supersonic cruise missile in that single still photo. If the ISPR video guy was told to use a pic of a Shahed drone and call it "Fatah Munna" he would've done that.
If you'd just watch the video you wouldn't be asking this. It's shared more than once on the forum. So they showed a picture of a Chinese missile and we have assumed we are acquiring it?
What other conclusion is there? So they showed a picture of a Chinese missile and we have assumed we are acquiring it?
What other conclusion is there?
This is not a vanilla Chinese missile; at best, it is a derivative variant of HD1 [original]So they showed a picture of a Chinese missile and we have assumed we are acquiring it?
F1,2,3 are all supersonic, aren't they?Pakistan RFC currently has:
Fatah 1 - MLRS - 140km
Fatah 2 - MLRS - 400km
Fatah 3 - Supersonic cruise - 450km
Fatah 4 - GLCM - 700km
Fatah 5 - In development
Yes but the first 2 are:F1,2,3 are all supersonic, aren't they?
Got it, however, F1 and 2 are also new Hypersonic or high SS. Isn't it?Yes but the first 2 are:
Fatah 1 rocket artillery
Fatah 2 rocket artillery
I meant:
Fatah 3 supersonic cruise missile
Fatah 4 Cruise missile (likely subsonic)
Fatah 5 test as claimed by @Zarvan, some sources say hypersonic and some say longer range subsonic 1000km.
Hypersonic cruise missile or HGV would be a big step towards stronger defence.
No, F1 is a Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System and is just a guided rocket artillery which is not hypersonic. F2 on the other hand is a Tactical Ballistic Missile or SRBM (SMASH being its naval derivative) whose terminal speed as quoted by Quwa is going to be supersonic.Got it, however, F1 and 2 are also new Hypersonic or high SS. Isn't it?
