PTI news, updates and discussions part ll

Yes he did. You have no proof that the document in IK's hand was fake...it was a photocopy and The Intercept confirmed all the allegations made by IK.

Look at this issue this way"

Whether IK lied, or told the truth, he did it to remain in power. And he failed. What is more, the country has moved on without IK just the same as before, no better and no worse.

Talk about a storm in a teacup. And even that was years ago.

Dropsite can easily get sued in US for fake news

Why? Such tabloid journalism only fools the deluded. Who wants to sue over a dead issue from years ago about a desperate demagogue who lied to save his seat and failed?

As I said above:

Whether IK lied, or told the truth, he did it to remain in power. And he failed. What is more, the country has moved on without IK just the same as before, no better and no worse.

Kava chahey kala thaa yaa sufaid, usko marey huey chaar saal ho chukay hein. :D

PTI has been in power for over 1 decade in KPK, they must make Peshwar and KPK in to a role model city and province, to show the people of Pakistan how their vision for naya Pakistan works.
For the last 37 years KPK is terrorism battle ground, constant flow of IDPs . Bannu time after time goes under the control of Taliban. At one point Peshawar was the city of gardens and green belts. But now ... no one cares anymore.......

posting here. It is another IK's mistake or blunder (on Bajwa's suggestion) to appoint the current air chief as there were more worthy candidates.

People need to look at it from both sides, they all made mistakes, army/generals helped IK to power and then when IK didnt listen to them they stopped protecting him, this was the downfall of the relationship and has reached a no point of return. Pti also did fake propaganda against the army.

Thread 'Imran Khan: The Path to Revolution"PakAl PDF'

Imran Khan’s removal matters, but not in the way his supporters usually frame it.

The strongest case for removing him in 2022 was that he had already lost governing support, was facing serious economic stress, and had no clear path to stabilizing the situation right?

But no - The current regime has actually proven the larger point I outlined.

Once in power, it fell back on the same familiar formula of IMF dependence, diplomatic optics, elite management, and short term external relief while the deeper structural problems stayed untouched.

That is why the issue is bigger than PTI, bigger than the establishment alone, and bigger than Imran Khan as a personality.

The problem sits in the political culture itself, in the patronage habits, short horizon thinking, personalization of power, and the wider social pool that keeps reproducing the same outcomes no matter who comes in.

In that sense, even if Imran Khan had stayed in power, the best likely result was still some version of what we see now, MoUs, IMF dependence, symbolic diplomacy, and temporary breathing space sold as strategy, because Pakistan’s real crisis is deeper than one leader or one institution and runs through the way power, society, and reward are organized in the country.

And yes that is also why this needs to change, but probably cannot in any immediate or clean way, because the very people who benefit from the current order are the ones sitting on top of politics, bureaucracy, business, media, and even much of social influence, while the wider public is also too conditioned by short term survival, sifarish, personality worship, and immediate reward to consistently demand something better.

The qaum that doesn’t even know how to park cars at a mosque or give way to ambulances cannot be expected to do any revolutionary “tabdeeli”

What would actually need to change is not just one government or one institution, but the social habits underneath all of it in terms of more respect for merit over connections, more willingness to accept delayed reward, more civic discipline, more honesty about corruption at the family and community level, and more value placed on institution building over following savior figures.

And the hard truth is that this change cannot be brought by one leader, one party, or one election. It would have to come from society itself, through parents, schools, local communities, serious teachers, honest professionals, and a middle class willing to stop acting transactional in private while demanding morality in public, because until the social pool changes, the state built from that pool will keep producing the same result.
I believe you explained this beautifully many times before. But here we are again back to square one, people who cannot follow basic cleanliness, traffic rules, queue up at shops etc and we think we are capable of building a powerful modern state, in reality it is the people who build a great powerful civilisation.

Dr Mahatir Mohammad of Malaysia beautiful explains this, why Muslims today are backwards and oppressed, we were once a great civilisation.

Allama Iqbal - Muslims have unfortunately forgotten their powerful values, morals, history, civilisation, once we used to compete and today cannot conquer ownself, never mind building families, communities, cities and nations.

“Teach your children their history, because history builds nations.”

Do Pakistani parents or Pakistanis know their own 1000 years old Islamic history, the history of great civilisation we built, or even the 1400 years of Islamic history and powerful civilisation. Unfortunately majority are clueless and not interested. Knowing our great history, civilisation, language, art, ethics, moral code, culture creates a powerful self image. I visited Turkey and I could easily see how proud they are of their great empires and culture, they even have museums which educate the children and the people. These same people will then join the military, police, politics, government, not saying they will be perfect but if we are currently at 30% effectiveness and increase it to 80% level we will see a big change.

One of the most bizarre features of the upcoming constitutional amendment by Establishment is the raising of the voting age to 25!!

It's one heck of an admission of defeat by the Establishment, that the new generations in Pakistan are not with them, therefore according to patwari/fauji logic they should be dis enfranchised.
Moot move on the duffers' part when form 47 already exist...

It has been 4 years now since IK got removed? He seems to live rent free in the minds of the establishment. The optics of this cypher thing doesn't help them either. A chink American called Donald Lu giving dictation to a nuclear country on what they should do.

Boys have also been unsuccessful in 'reviving' Pakistan. So far through great PR drama they have sold the illusion of 'stable at rock bottom'.

All hope is not lost for IK but he is getting old.

You are not a true patriot if this leak doesn’t bother you. Any Pakistani with an iota of shame and integrity would be furious at the forces that derailed our country at the behest of a junior official from the USA. I am terrified to even think about this but if the POTUS himself ordered our generals then they would probably nuke their own people.

The country has moved on? Ok here’s an offer for you, keep IK in jail, don't give PTI their electoral symbol but just don’t steal their votes...and then tell me who becomes the PM from behind bars.

I guess we all will have to wait for the next elections to see what happens.

Imran Khan will steamroll any free and fair election. He did it in the last one and he'll certainly do it in the next one because PMLN + PPP + Fauj + Judiciary combined have failed to deliver so the rebound factor applies also.

I think in 2029 they will not even allow PTI to contest as independents. They will find some loophole for it, or pass a new law or just go after any potential PTI candidate and their family.
