Murdered student did not die with dignity says family

Home Secretary will give a statement shortly. Lets see how this lot feel when a Muslim women lays down the law here after years of Priti Patel demonising muslims.

Boot now on the other foot....

Since Indians Suella and Priti were so vociferous on us Pakistanis . Now it’s our turn. Hopefully Home Secretary Mahmood will say. Sikhs carrying religious knifes will now be banned.

The police at the scene really were clueless. Nowak stated multiple times "I can't breathe" and "I've been stabbed" and they ignored all that while cuffing him on the ground and reading him his rights as he lay there hardly able to speak. Meanwhile the vile perpetrator stood by and gave them instructions, denying any stabbing ever took place.

I don't personally think much will change, unless concerned citizens also demand the right to carry ceremonial weaponry.

Sikhs wasted no time in joining the far right and proclaiming how integrated they are into society compared to Muslims. Thankfully, despite what has happened, Muslims in UK will not behave like this and turn on Sikhs. Not in our nature too, sometimes I wish it was....

uk sikhs are now getting a public backlash from the right-wing goreh. Anti-indian/sikh sentiment is high in the uk at the moment. The same sikhs who used to support white-european far-right racists in their racism against Pakistanis and Muslims. uk sikhs were saying they will join forces with white european racists and attack Pakistanis and Mulsims. They are now getting their comeuppance.
Someone needs to call up Coconut Singh, the one with the shit restaurant. Ask him his opinion....lol

I was always under the impression that the kirpans carried in the UK were purely ceremonial and not sharp. I wonder whether this guys was sharpened?

BBC summary: In response to calls to tighten the right of the Sikh community to carry ceremonial knives, Mahmood adds: "Let me be clear, carrying a knife for the purpose of religious observance is one thing," but using it is "quite another".

But the point is, Ms Mahmood, that "using" a knife won't happen if "carrying" a knife is EQUALLY illegal for Sikhs as it is for anyone else. These same leftie lunatics will bang on about US gun laws, whining (correctly imho) that not being able to carry a gun will obviate the risk of killing someone with a gun. But the same logic is denied here.

Imagine if in the USA, only ONE SINGLE group of ordinary citizens could carry loaded guns on the basis of some religious conviction, while every other group could not.

I don't hold out much hope for change, as the police, whose hands are still fundamentally tied when they are trying to just do their duty and protect people, will be scapegoated by any supposed "independent enquiry".

Ban kirpans in public places. Sikhs should wear some miniaturised substitute. It's "ceremonial" anyway, as we are always told, so it doesn't need to be of "stabbing size and quality".
I swear that is just so stupid to allow some members of a society to carry around deadly weapons.

Imagine telling people that it was part of your religious beliefs to carry around a loaded AK-47, which must be original Russian made, with a few extra magazines because it is your religious belief. Because a replica just will not meet the religious criteria even though it is supposed to be a symbol but it just has to be the real weapon.

People would laugh at you and say you were mentally unstable.

Exactly what you said this had always bothered me.

We were always taught at school that they were ceremonial and not sharp.

Why is a weapon ceremonial? Couldn't they pick something that doesn't cause violence. These tribal antics have no place in Britain.

They do this strange stuff in India because anything goes in India.

That doesn't mean its okay to walk around with a machete.

No we were taught wrong I believe. It is a blade, made of metal which is a deadly weapon in itself whether sharpened or not. Even while not sharp one can still use it as a weapon to strike or to pierce the body. Even if it was made of wood it would still be potentially dangerous in a heated situation. If it was made of plastic you could still poke someone in the eye or throat with it.

Makes no sense to allow any one group to go around in public carrying weapons. In many countries the police will treat a replica as a real one until they have full control of the situation.

Interesting. So does this 'independent Sikh state' include the Pakistani territory they claim, or does your love for partition suddenly stop at your own border? 😂
There is no Sikh-dominated separatist force in Pakistan. However, the country that Sikhs have tried to establish includes territory in India.

The Indian Sikh separatist forces attempt to create an independent sovereign state called 'Khalistan.' This location is in northern India.

As for how Pakistan handles its internal affairs, that is a matter for the Pakistani people and government to resolve. This issue has nothing to do with Indians.

Indians should seriously consider how to address Sikh separatist forces, Kashmir separatist forces, the United Liberation Front of Asom, the People's Liberation Army of Manipur, the United National Liberation Front, the National Socialist Council, the Tripura National Liberation Front, the Naxalites, and the Daro-Bhichastan movement.

India has more problems than any other country, yet Indians are concerned about the affairs of a hostile country. Your mindset is truly admirable.

The same with the Bangles Sikhs wear

I remember getting into fights with Sikhs back in the 90's and those clowns always used to try to use the bangle as some sort of punching weapon, never really worked out well for them, but the intent was there
