No, it's just that India and, to a greater extent, Pakistan, didn't get the FDI and technology transfers China got from Uncle Sam since the 1980s and 1990s. That's it.
One word: Governance
In Pakistan it is almost absent. The situation is such that as if there were no government whatsoever.
In India the situation is extremely miserably bad and their society, which is mostly based on and revolves around Hindu belief systems has no concept of charity, mercy and being ethical.
"You are from a low caste because you were bad in your previous life time and thus deserve all the misery."
The Chinese government is dedicated to its people and is obsessed with making life better for them in every way possibe. Everything they think of or do is towards the betterment of their people.
The Chinese economy was growing SO FAST in the 1980s that the Chinese government tried to slow it down out of fears of inflation. China built itself up, had already stabilized it, and THEN the Western ruling class came in to try to save $$ on production so they could have more $$ in their pockets.
For India, the Zionia TRIED to bring it into the 20th and the 21st century but you can only drag a horse a river but you cannot force it to drink water.
