The UK had a system called the JP233, basically cruise missile looking thing that would drop a ton of submunitions to turn any runway to dust- its basically halfway there lol

Terrible weapon, led to a few RAF losses, required straight long run over the runway

The earthquake was a mega disaster and credit goes to General Musharraf for dealing with it beautifully. I still remember all that, and was very impressed.
That may have included diverting parts of defence budget for disaster relief, and looking at how big the calamity was, it only made sense.

Did you say it was dealt with "beautifuly" and that you were "impressed"!!!! It was an utter disaster and even larger than the earthquake itself!! Bloody thieves the lot of them who handled the money. The PAF chief at that time also diverted funds meant for block 52's towards the rehabilitation of the affected people. And not a penny reached them. 1 billion dollars was donated from abroad. And for what. Nothing was built for the people absolutely nothing. Musharraf was only good for one thing and that was talking. Nobody comes close to him other than ayub khan.

Also, he is the reason there is load shedding now. All he built was Ghazi barotha. That's it. He ruined and wasted everything. He could have put an end to these political pricks that are now incharge if he had stepped up. Everyone was expecting him to hang these corrupt ppl but alas he chickened out. Bhai that thing is that these ENDians think whatever PAF had pre-Ops. Tandoor should be our Final Inventory.

If we place an order for something 5 Years from now, the first thing that will come out of jeets will be, "Daikha...! Ops Sindoor ke waja say they are now replacing".

Yaar, you guys should just read the articles on that View attachment 198362 . Based on that "Research Wing" they are buying & upgrading everyday.

Uus kay bawajood, 42 Sqn are nowhere close to a reality.

42 Squadrons would never be a reality for the IAF now. It is near impossible for them to reach that quantity. To replace the junk they still count in their stock would cost a fortune. Looking from the experience of the Rafale purchase saga. It would be a huge cost-driven exercise for India even to procure 200 new jets.
