Navy Commander Rear Admiral Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Uçar, Commander of Naval Technical Command of the Turkish Naval Forces, announced that Turkey's national aircraft carrier project MUGEM is planned to be delivered in 2032.

It was stated that the propeller design is being entirely conducted within the Turkish Naval Forces, while it was conveyed that the goal is to develop a quiet propeller with an efficiency exceeding 70 percent.

I remember around 2011 I read in Warship magazine that Turkey will build 2 xLST with option for 2 more

didn't know we had to wait till 2026

now lets hope a second LHD is also ordered

that will give Turkey a very good Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) built around 2 x LHD + 4 x LST

2 more will be produced... it's not that urgent.

Furthermore, Türkiye is carrying out $100 billion military projects and has developed all subsystems to break the embargoes.

With this level of defense budget, we're doing an excellent job.
