Field Marshal Asim Munir should declare Islamic Presidential System in Pakistan. It will solve most of the problems faced by the country.

Hopefully the FM of Pakistan can give the Lebanese Army Chief a pair of "brass balls" that he can put on his desk at home, so he knows what a pair look like ....

Yeah, although you can hardly blame the Lebanese Army, between Hizboallah and the Israelis they do not have a chance. Manpower, equipment, geography and money are all stacked against them. It is interesting that while his country is under severe attack he is rushing to meet Munir.

What I would not give to see Pakistan hand over training and equipment for some SAM systems to them though....

Just look at how well a small group of local fighters have held IDF back into pockets, then consider if the state itself resisted by calling up people, how well they can defend their land. The goal is to defend, not try and move armored divisions into Israel, just defend. Pakistan, and other countries would help Lebanon with supplies etc. as it is the official government asking for aid to help defend its borders etc.

I see your point, but lets be honest here, Israel can turn Lebanon into Gaza in a few weeks should it wish to do so.

Agreed, the Maronite Christians who run the army have no balls, but even if they did, options are limited against a country that is almost a veritable arm of the US military
