A good suggestion. In fact, Iran should play the same game Trump and Israel are playing.The agreement does not have to collapse. Iran can formally say, in light of ceasefire violations, the signing will be delayed for 2 weeks etc. Then Iran can decide if they want to militarily retaliate or not. Make this compliance issue Trumps problem as well, not just Iran's alone.
It is not without evidence that plenty of commentators have suggested that Tel Aviv is not actually interested in peace (though i do firmly believe that Trump wants out of this mess). So, if Iran can survive economically, we may be seeing the commencement of a mixed cold/periodically kinetic war that could last many years.
