What are your thoughts on the theory that the reformists are executing a coup and Khamenei jr., Javad Larijani and other opponents are marked for assassination in coordination with the reformists?

Believe it or not I do not have a twitter login. My conclusion is based on statements and actions of the characters in question and guided by following Iranian and regional politics and wars very closely for 25 years. But let's not make this about me, please.

Iran did not say that the Strait of Hormuz is closed. The fact that some ships are going through Omani waters gives Iran the exact intel it needs. Once 60 days arrive, and the war begins, then you will see ZERO ships passing through Omani waters.

Iran was exporting oil before the war. Exporting oil again is not an achievement. Iran is $300b in the hole after the the last round (or a trillion according to Trump/Vance). Iran's only chance for recovering the sum is by tightly controlling and charging for transit. This Omani route erodes Iranian control by design. Without it Iranian capabilities will be attritted, mowed like a lawn, boiled like a frog.

Article 5 of the MoU says Iran to arrange safe passage, not US/Oman.

5. Upon the signing of this MoU, the Islamic Republic of Iran will make arrangements using its best efforts for the safe passage of commercial vessels with no charge for 60 days only from the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman and vice versa. The traffic of commercial vessels will immediately start, and considering the need for removing the technical and military obstacles and demining by the Islamic Republic of Iran, will be instated within 30 days. The Islamic Republic of Iran will conduct dialogue with the Sultanate of Oman to define the future administration and maritime services in the Strait of Hormuz in discussion with other Persian Gulf littoral states in line with the applicable international law and the sovereign rights of coastal states of the Strait of Hormuz.

- Iran will spend part of the initial $6 billion on goods needed by Iran, purchased according to Iran’s announced needs and made available to Iran.
Iran is explaining how it will spend its own money. "Made available" sounds like surplus US agri products instead of cash as suggested by Trump. Iran could buy foodstuffs from China and Russia without the need for this language.

- Iran complained about US violations, especially:
Complaining instead of taking reciprocal or remedial action.

This is not the MO and language of Ebrahim Zolfaghari and the principlists. It is that of Pezeshkian, Araghchi, Zarif and Rouhani's.

This is one of the most disasterous dialog/Peace deal in the past 100 years, like one day its on and next day both parties blame each other for violations, one day POTUS say we will wipe of Iran and next day he wants to talk, Iran will deny any talks and then more news will surface of possible agreements, at this point this whole Peace talks has become a funny joke. And its all due to lack of trust, dishonest leadership, and evil intensions, hidden agenda and unwillingness to compromise and of course the entity.
 
They are just buying time till the mid-terms…hoping economic conditions stabilize enough for it to not be a total blood bath and then the fireworks will start again.
