Cargo plane crashed off Karachi coast

They are solid aircraft. Often my choice on domestic flights. In fact, can't remember the exact model but flew a 737 from Santiago, Chile to Panama City, Panama.

The A321nero scares me a bit.

I personally prefer a Boeing over an Airbus any time. They have a design philosophy that agrees with my own. Enough said.

Yes I heard about this unfortunate incident.
Its all over the internet.

inna lillahi wa inallah-e-raji'oon

That can be termed as a personal choice if yours. But Boeing doesn't reign the aviation world anymore. On the one hand, the 2 back to back crushes of Boeing 737Max and, on the other hand, the enormous success of A 350. Airbus has taken a gaint leap and has taken a huge share of Boeing. The use of composite material in A 350 900 and A 350 1000 saves up to 20% in terms of operational cost, which is huge in a competitive airlines business

I think the Karachi airport attack you mentioned was targeted at a local mobile phone company, vivo .
Their imported components storage at the airport was specially targeted, and lots of their stock went up in flames.
Off Topic:

Negative, Sir.

The Cargo Area only went up in Flames because that was the port of Entery for those Uzbek swines. For those that are familiar with KHI, that would be somewhere from the side of Stargate. I know this, because at the time of the seige, we (Eastern SkyJets Crew) were all staying at the Ramada & were locked-in.

There is a big gap between Jinnah Terminal & the Cargo/Maintainence Hangers.

There was NO way they could have crossed on foot without being shot by the ASF on the high towers.

So they even went in storage facilities & killed the poor guys that were hidding there.

The Aircrafts that were damaged were the ones that were parked at the Remote Stand across Shaheen Air's Maintainance Hangers.

Its just a coincidence that this Chinese Brand vivo got affected.

Below are pictures taken by our Engineers the following day of the Cargo Facility.

Note: I do have more images, but (a) they're Off Topic, (b) they're pretty grim & (c) I don't see the connection with this unfortunate K2 Airways incident.

Yes, as I said clearly:

I personally prefer a Boeing over an Airbus any time.

Airbus sales have nothing to do with this thread, in my personal opinion.
