R-73, short range IR AAM. It's maximum range in ideal conditions is only 30 km, it's not a useful missile. The oldest AIM-120 has a range of 75 km and newer missiles like the Meteor have a range of 200. These MiGs won't even be able to get close to any aircraft to fire them off.

Remember Mig29UB has no radar, and therefore the only missile capability is just IR ones. That is why their utility in Air Defense is so limited.
