EV traditionally as seen as more of an expensive Euro tier like Audi/BMW etc in terms of tesla. A lot of Australians will gradually see that u don't have to spend a lot to get a decent tier EV.

Russia imports cars, too. Australia is rich in natural resources, they can sit all day long on the beach, money keeps raining from the sky, I would not worry too much. They can buy everything they need from other, they just should not start a war of convenience or out of nothing, something like the Russians do.Australia is almost like a third world country if we are talking technology or innovation or even their lower caste society.
Its ok gents.......Australia is like at da level of Indonesia or Malaysia.
Like an Arab country exporting resources/ raw material only.
Everything gets imported.

I did visit Australia a while ago coming from Germany then Vietnam. Back then things were still cheap then the Aussie got rich by selling minerals to China and the world. Then they have tons of money the bubble expanding everything becomes expensive. I like Melbourne it looks much like Europe. Some of us have actually lived down unda and believe me life is not so easy down there. Everything is very expensive and jack shit is produced locally except fruit n veg n beef/ milk. Inflated housing market/ bubble economy and services monopoly.
Almost everything else gotta be brought in from overseas and there is not much industry you know. I lived there for a decade and left.
