heck, they could have opened a shop in their home city and made several times more money.

hit the leadership and the handlers . they are low in number but their elimination will have much bigger impact. do it nicely and precise with plausable deniability. start with Afghanitan and UAE and then follow the trail where ever.

That movement is dead.... What's fighting now is centered in Makran..... Kech, Panjgur, Gwadar .... the part of the province that never had a sardari system... the most urban and literate region, with its own universities..... The cadre is students and graduates who organize horizontally as equals, precisely because there was never a chief to speak for them.... It's leaderless resistance by design... there's no head to cut...


The record proves it.... Bugti killed 2006 = escalation..... Aslam Baloch, who built the Majeed Brigade, killed 2018 = the suicide program grew... 20 years of "high-value" removals bought more violence, because leaders are replaceable and grievances aren't......


And "precise, plausible deniability, hit the handlers" isn't a new idea... it's the current policy.... Furthermore, disappearances and "kill-and-dump" are the number 1 recruitment driver on record...... The Turbat killing that started Mahrang Baloch's whole movement is the proof..... You are prescribing more of the medicine that caused the disease.


Doing it in UAE and Afghanistan just internationalizes their cause and hands them the exact grievance we accuse India of..... You can't decapitate a movement built specifically on having no head.... The tribal one you could kill.... This one you have to outgovern....

For years, Sui gas was priced at around Rs 47/MMBTU, while in Sindh, Mari was around Rs 171 and Qadirpur around Rs 240.... Since royalties are calculated on the wellhead price, Balochistan repeatedly argued (hardly without reason) that it was receiving less than it should...... Even OGRA acknowledged before the NFC that Sui's wellhead price remained unusually low compared to other fields....

You can call them delusional all day long.... It still doesn't explain why so many people(not just separatists) believe they got a raw deal...

The real problem is that your entire explanation boils down to "millions of people are idiots" .....That's not a serious argument.... it's an intellectual shortcut...

Well congratulations. They asked for "fair price". Got it. And saw their competitive advantage evaporate. It was literally cheaper fro industry to buy gas from overseas and build an enormous gas terminal at Port Qasim. Got control iof their resources. And promptly made it useless.
Of course, Thar coal is now used for making syngas for fertiliser instead. Nuclear power meant that its role in power generation was reduced.

Families know what monsters they bred. The families take money and let them join terror organisations. The likes of Akhtar Mengal give them false hope of some independent Balochistan. Though he himself married his daughter to rich punjabi but want baloch to die in useless conflict in misery and poverty.

You don't even need "state" to do this. Its a job a provincial govt. For that they get Rs1200bn budget with less population then Rawalpindi and near zero contribution in tax generation.

The ignorant like you continue to support their BS points like resources. Sui gas was found barely 10km away from punjab border, it could have gone either way. For that they received royalty. And not to forget NFC share in tax collection in which Balochistan contributes very little. All this doesnt matter as baloch terrorism started in 1948 long before Pakistan found sui gas.

On top of that Gwadar port, thousands of KM of highways etc Even now Pakistanis are paying extra petrol levy to build Rs400bn expressway between Karachi-Quetta. Baloch themselves consume smuggled iranian oil paying zero levy.

According to kakar real representives of Baloch are likes of Akhtar mengal and other ethno separatist politicians. And not Sarfraz Bugti.

And real democracy will bring peace. Like how? Its not like BLA is fighting to restore democracy.

So if indeed likes of ethno terror sympathisers like Akhtar Mengal have support of majority of baloch that mean Pakistan need to work on zarb-e-azb and move population to reeducation camps. Punjabis in Balochistan goes back hundreds of years. They were always there in every corner of Balochistan, until the mass exodus in 70s and then in 2000s. But there are still those who refuse to leave, who still travel there for work, mostly because of economic opportunities.

There's a historic context to this, I hope your question was genuine curiosity and not victim blaming.

I don't know what do you mean here. But there is no scope for separatism in guise of democracy. So if majority have fallen to separatist propaganda and Sarfraz Bugti isn't representative then let me make it very clear to you. Balochistan will always remain part of Pakistan even if there are no baloch in it.

I try my best not to bring religion into these discussions, but sometimes it is necessary.

This is the result of centuries of scholars hiding the true details of Jamal, Siffin, and Nahrawan from Muslims, what led up to them, and the true status of baghis in Islamic law. Also, the true gory details of the "Ridda Wars" may not be palatable for the average Muslim. They can barely stomach the watered down version given in academically dishonest sources such as Farkhanda Noor Mohammed's O' Level Islamiyat books.

This hesitation gives them the time and respite needed to form their ranks and arm up.

I could also argue that no Muslim country is neither an Islamic State, nor does the Pakistani state have the sole divine authority or responsibility of representing a wishful notion of Islamic laws, but that would be outside the scope of these forums.

No one is advocating for breaking international or humanitarian laws here. However, at the very least the State can take some measures that other Muslim countries have done in the past century to put down similar laaton ke bhoot within their domains.

Absolutely disappointing to hear Rafiullah Kakar parrot Afghanistan's talking points.

He uses the word 'allegedly' and then goes on to make a whole story about how ISI is arming ex-ANA and settling them in Balochistan. He also tweeted that Taliban hit one of their sites in Balochistan recently with a drone.
