Depleted uranium is good for penetration of armored vehicles and bunkers, useless as a WMD.

Also, to produce DU, you should have some sort of enrichment capability, which Iran no longer has. Depleted uranium is a biproduct of uranium enrichment. When you enrich natural uranium, on one hand you get enriched uranium and on the other hand you get depleted uranium as a biproduct.
