Apparently the feud started in the 80's over a piece of land and has taken thousands of lives.

It's come to light again because after this ridiculous gun battle a tribal Jirga has arranged a settlement.

It really makes you think.

• Where is the state? No Rangers or Army to fix this? Punjab police not being shipped in to fight big boys with guns? Only political rallies?
• Imagine how much they've spent on this feud over 40 years Vs the cost of the land they were fighting over.
• Whats to say this settlement is going to hold the peace?!
• Imagine being stupid enough to think you can win a war with a country where 40 year old land disputes are being settled like this!
