Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Iran would NEVER have attacked Israel too.

Iran only responded when Israel did an unprovoked attack, killed Iranian leaders, killed their scientists, killed ordinary Iranian people, bombed their nuclear sites etc. It was a large scale unprovoked attack.

and if you think Israel can do it against Turkey, or Pakistan and they won't do anything?? then its just pure false assumption with no ground.

Remember, Iran would NEVER have attacked Israel too. For 3 years Israel was carrying out genocide at Gaza. But It only responded when an unprecedented, surprised attack on nation state of Iran was launched by Israel. The attack on Israel wasn't for Palestine. It was for Iran. Always remember that bit.

However, you can make an argument that Israel will never even go to war with Turkey, Pakistan etc as these countries are no threat to Israel's interests in the region. That argument still will have some weight. I also think that Israel don't need to attack Turkey, Pakistan and its not even in the position to do so. It will have no support from the world and it will create extreme security situation for itself by doing so. It will be a blunder by Israelis of epic proportions. So they are never going to do so in foreseeable future. Iran will remain their number.1 target for foreseeable future.
not exactly true. Iran launched 300 missiles/drones at Israel after they assassinated Haniyeh in Tehran, then launched another 200 missiles at Israel when they bombed a building connected to Iran's consulate in Damascus.

Iran would NEVER have attacked Israel too.

Of course because attacking Israel, is attacking America.

Iran’s strategy was never a direct war with Israel it was a suffocation strategy. The goal was to build a ring of fire around Israel until Israel implodes from its social demographic issues and America loses its superpower status under its massive debt burden and a rising China. It was a game of patience.

The ring of fire compromised of Hezbollah, Hamas, Assad, Iraq, Yemen and as a future project Jordan.

However, Israel got a gift from Hamas who went suicidal and destroyed themselves in Oct 2023. Assad couldn’t reunify the country and neither Russia nor Iran had tens of billions of dollars to prop him up under brutal Western sanctions, so Syria fell under economy collapse same way Venezuela did. The military and officials turned on their leader and stopped fighting.

Right then and there the ring of strategy fell apart as Israel poked a hole in two fronts and went on the counter offensive. The rest is history and doesn’t need explaining.

But Iran at one point was patrolling the Golan heights and the Lebanon/Israel border. So it’s impressive a country that nearly 1800KM away was able to patrol Israel’s borders. Can Saudi Arabia say that? Can Qatar say that? Can Turkey say that? Can Pakistan say that? No. Not even Saddam (the strongest Arab leader in recent history) could say that.

and if you think Israel can do it against Turkey, or Pakistan and they won't do anything?? then its just pure false assumption with no ground.

Neither Pakistan or Turkey would attack, both have serious issues in being in a sustained war. U.S. prevented an LNG tanker from going to Pakistan. What did Pakistan do about it? Nothing.

Do we really think Pakistan is going to war with Israel when it has to borrow money from IMF and Arab countries just to survive? Do we think Erodgan of Turkey is going to go to war with Israel when the Turkish Lira has lost 99% of its value against the dollar? When they have had to sell tons of gold on open market to keep the economy alive?

Neither Turkey nor Pakistan has the war chest or energy independence for such a move.

You can point to your fighter jets and your missiles and your fancy weaponary, but none of that matters if you don’t have money and energy to feed your war machine. War runs on molecules and gold, not weapons. Before the war, Putin had amassed a war chest of nearly 500B dollars. Russia can feed its war machine with its own oil and natural gas. That is why Russia is able to fight indefinitely.

Pakistan and Turkey have neither of these. And in case of Iran it may have the energy independence to supply its war machine, but lacks the needed war chest for a sustained conflict.

Pak and turkiye establishments are already partially occupied by the west to be fair, there is no way these countries will even lift a finger at israel even if israel drop bombs in their capitals, its an open secret that mossad is active in balochistan causing unrest yet pakistan has not even uttered a single word of condemnation against the entity unfortunately, they just conveniently hide behind the old slogan of two state solution w.r.t palestine while doing absolutely nothing to achieve it.

Why does Egypt always end up in these lists? What have they done in the last half century to inspire confidence that they wouldn't sell their mother for the right price?

(I'm refering to the government - the Egyptian people are great.)
Well, among all middle eastern and islamic nations , Egypt was the one to suffer so much when it comes to wars against the west and israel.
we went in wars against em several times , in 1948 , in 1956 (vs france,israel and u.k) , in 1967, in 1969 , and in 1973.

so basically we did a lot but well not all people will see that.

Maybe OT for a bit but what was this future project in Jordan ? I have never heard of that.

Exactly. You said very well.

Israel is afraid of nations, and their leaders. A big and strong nation like Turkey or Egypt is always a potential enemy that can shut off their plants.

Did you know that during the DOGE program US never cut the aid to Egyptians?. Do you know why?...

...Exactly, a Revolution in Egypt would destroy Israel in few months.

Israel will never left Egyptians to choose their leaders. Muslim Brotherhood is feared like the demon by israelis.
according to the situation in the Egyptian street ,probably few years or less than that we gonna witness a new revolution in Egypt , this time we gonna get rid of the all military filth that ruined the country.

I've participated in 2011 revolution and i was extra optimistic but then that fithy corrupt military leades tricked most of the ppl ( i knew their plan from the start but well i was just 1 among the few who knew that)

Maybe OT for a bit but what was this future project in Jordan ? I have never heard of that.

There was (and likely still is to a smaller extent) an ongoing project to have grassroots groups inside Jordan building and training for the day the King is disposed to have some influence in a future Jordan government.

The king of Jordan is the weakest he has ever been and if Assad had survived then it would have been tough for the Fake King because groups were running operations into Jordan from Syria. Jewlani has likely stemmed that avenue.

Nonetheless, it’s hard to see how Jordan with its large Palestinian population and disgruntled population staying in a fake monarchy. King Abdullah is the most unpopular he has ever been and he needs all these U.S. bases for his own security.

Surprised that as a Pakistani you didn't mention the bitter direct multiple times the Pakistani UN diplomats fought with Israel during the Gaza war and strongly condemn Israel by its name multiple times when this war was launched on Iran. The Iranian officials know that Pakistan stood out among the Muslim nations. And there is not much Pakistan can do given Pakistan's West-dependent economy AND two long hostile border (India and Afghanistan). Besides that, Iran is doing a decent job of fighting back.

Actually Professor has all the right reasons with him. The Israel / US were aggressor, did unprovoked attacked. Iran wasn't a threat to US. The whole war was on behest of Israel. They assassinate leaders and do genocides. I think Professor can easily avoid bringing Epstien in every statement as it only gives an excuse to these "journalists" as oh Professor is making conspiracy theories. The geopolitics and these wars are not happening because of Epstien. The war is because Israel wanted Iran to fail as a nation state, erupt into civil war and wanted to turn into into what Syria went through.

Bro, Pak / Turkey establishments can be partially occupied / influenced by west. But saying they won't lift a finger even if Israel drop bombs in their capital is just the most unbelievable and unimaginable thing ever. Something which in impractical.

Its simply is IMPOSSIBLE to not respond. It completely destroys the reputation of the "establishments" in and outside the country's. The people will burn down everything if there is no response. However, you can make a point that because the establishments in these countries are already onboard with west, so its highly unlikely that any war would happen at first place.

Your argument is self contradictory, because if the establishments are already on board with west then there is absolutely no point for Israel to attack these countries at first place. If and Once that attack happens, everything changes. Any understanding with Israel/west collapses and establishments are left with absolutely no choice but to respond.

You are thinking too highly of these nations, except Iran none of these nations will do anything.

You would actually be surprised. It all comes down to a country's willpower eventually. But this conflict have really put a spotlight on some major US vulnerabilities, and it won't be long before every adversary starts using the exact same playbook Iran has.

The militaries will possibly employ hunkering down, surviving the initial two week onslaught, while dragging the conflict out into a long war of attrition. In addition, just have missiles and drones capable of hitting US interests in the region.

These militaries should also throw in some strategic adjustments through learning from Iran's recent blunders such as actually fielding a functional air force. Eventually, it will becomes a whole different ballgame.
