Seems that the captain/ lead pilot of that a/c had even asked permission to take off again (or perhaps to move to another location at Bholari to avoid this very scenario) but it was denied stating that the cease fire had come into effect. God damn those slimy Hindu bastards.

1. It was taken at face value because Pakistan had called off its next vectors for employment precisely because Indians agreed to. So this was them being dishonorable but since that call off was coordinated by your friends and allies - you chose the “higher”(read fait accompli) ground and not retaliate to this.

2. Yes, but the hangar was in use and Saab dispersed on and off - reportedly someone missed the memo that said to move the Saab away from there just in case. Pretty sure heads have rolled - just not publicly.

The AM is exaggerating what happened regarding dive down to run. The Indians launched a LOT of S-400s well outside their engagement envelope against other PAF assets that defended against it. The Saab did do various maneuvers along its race track to adjust against multiple threats while still maintaining coverage but no “dive down” etc that I have heard of.
What is likely is that they got beam on momentarily and fired while other assets were also trying to find gaps to push against targets - then fired against PAF aircraft and in true Indian fashion claimed a fire as a kill.

Considering these are the people who have the tail of a Mig-21FL painted as a Pakistani aircraft standing as gate guard for their base - I would not make much of the IAF officer claims.

The apparent awacs or c130 kill they claim that was made by S400 was over Dinga( near Rahwali). The 40N6 / 40N6E missile was intercepted over the city by our air defenses. I guess a first in the world interception.
